I will make the change to AKL after next weeks ultrasound, if everything looks good. :goodvibes

When the time comes (I am guessing its still too early, right?) will you be finding out if you are welcoming another Princess or a new Pirate into your Disney family? Or will you wait and be surprised on delivery day?

Definitely too early now, but we should be able to find out before our trip in August! I sure hope we do so I can shop accordingly. ;)

We found out with both of our girls, so will definitely find out with this one. :goodvibes

Sending best wishes to you.

My youngest was born at the end of the summer. Which is why, once again, we will be on vacation on her birthday. Lets just say, it was a hot summer, but I took it easy when I was tired, and always found an air conditioned place when I needed it, including air conditioning in my car. :goodvibes I hope you will have a good time. It will be different, but at least you can still do alot at the parks. Plus, watching the kids instead of riding with them is half the fun. :lmao:

Thank you!

I am also one of those "just happy to be there" people, so I think I'll do alright as long as I take care of myself physically.

However, I am also one of those "cry at everything when at Disney" -- I can't even imagine how that will be magnified by pregnancy hormones! :scared1: DH said that alone might dehydrate me!! :rotfl:

Don't even get me started about flights for August! :badpc: :rotfl: Needless to say we are driving this summer unless by some miracle prices come down. $330 also seems like an excellent price. I can find August flights for just under $400, but the flight times aren't great, so I'm still holding out.

It's been brutal trying to find reasonably priced flights for August! Worst in many years.

I've booked my home bound flight.. did it in February when things were just starting to climb. I wanted the last flight of the day home, and it's during Labour Day weekend. Our flights were $262 each.. I hated paying that much after doing flights for $308 each round trip in December. The same flight is now $441 each!

Hoping upon hope that there will be seat sales from AC & WJ soon! Otherwise I'm looking at $288 or $337 each for our flights down :(

Which would make our flights almost the same price as our hotel/park tickets... grrrrrrrrrr!!!

Anyone else watching The Middle? It reminds me that I am glad that we are flying to Disney:) We need a 3 night rental to be picked up by Disney and returned to MCO...any great deals out there?

For us, the *tentative* plan is to return in May and October 2015. DS will be finished his first year at college by the end of April, and on his reading week in October. These will quite possibly be the last vacations he takes with us :( . Its so weird to be able to think outside the elementary and secondary school calendars for next year's trips........I hope this means cheaper flights!!!! :) We have never been to Orlando in May or October....so both would be new experiences! October would definitely include Halloween Horror Nights at Universal and MNSSHP at Disney :thumbsup2 . Of course, this may all change after our August trip, if the boys fall in love with having our two weeks back-to-back. In that case, it would be two weeks in May, with Discovery Cove/SeaWorld/Aquatica/Busch Gardens on the agenda.
Don't think that way! My DS is 23 and my DD is 4! 19 1/2 year difference. You read that right ;) Anyway my son and his gf love to vacation with us....and they pay their own way :) both nurses. My DS is going with his gf family to disney a month after us because he is cruising with us in April 2015. You know I always thought that way too but he prooved me wrong. He really enjoys our company. Haha.

Thanks for the advice everyone!!! Our first ultrasound is next week, so hoping for boatloads of pixie dust showing all is well, and I think I will pull the trigger at that point and make the move to AKL.:goodvibes

Congrats!

Hands down saving money and doing a location where you for now is perfect.

The only thing in the back of my head screams monorail for 2 parks vs 4 bus routes :(

That is so nice. :) I hope my kids want to vacation with me when they are in their 20's.....especially if they pay their own way! :thumbsup2

I'm 33 and still go away with my parents every year. Took Disney trips all through my 20s with them too.

lol, I have no doubt DS would love to continue to travel with us once he's done college, but I'm guessing his vacation time might not align with ours. If it does, bonus! If not, then DH and I will travel as a couple...and that has its own appeal as well ;) .

After all the talk about switching to AKL, we decided to switch our whole trip to AKL. So glad!
