There are rumours that there will be two MNSSHP nights over Labour Day weekend.....would that be enough to draw you back to Team August? :scratchin
Hmmm...We are definitely more MVMCP people than MNSSHP, but I wouldn't mind trying MNSSHP at least once. We've also wanted to see Night of Joy, but we've missed it by a week twice before. I have enjoyed going to WDW over Labor Day weekend in the past, so it's something to think about!

I think the possible dates are the 29th and the 1st as MK already has 7PM close times for those dates. The 31st, MK currently has EMH until 12AM.

We'll then at least we'll get a good long last park day when we return from the ship lol.

Judging by the park hours, they will be August 29th and September 1st. What date do you guys fly out? Or do you do Disney first and then cruise?

We're cruising 28-31 and fly out early morning of the 1st :-( alas it's not to be this time, I guess we'll have to save MNSSHP for our next trip!

Thank you! :)

We are in a cars suite the 16-23. We were goig. To keep it a surprise, but decided to tell our three. Good luck keeping the surprise!!

Awesome! Is it your first time staying is the Cars Suite? Looks like a really cute room.. I think my boys will be amazed when they walk into it, my daughter too young to care lol. Thanks, keeping the surprise is def harder then I thought it was going to be, I often catch myself almost slipping while talking about other summer things we will have going on lol.

I have been reading this thread for a few weeks now, waiting for DH to make up his mind about an August trip. Well, we just booked our flights :banana: August 26th-Sept. 2nd. And I'm another one hoping for MNSSHP on the 29th and 1st!

This will be our 2nd trip this year (we were there Feb. 8th-18th) 9th trip for our 2 DS's and I've lost count for me! However, this will our first August trip. I really do not like the heat but for Disney I'll deal with it ;) We'll plan on a few early mornings and then later in the evening. We also won't go as park heavy as we normally do. I promised DS'S lots more pool/rest time and I really need to try to stick to that lol! Also not sure if we'll be onsite. We haven't stayed offsite since 2007, but between FP+ and this being our 2nd trip this year, we may go that way.
Feb. was the first time I joined a planning thread on the boards and I really enjoyed it. Glad to be here with you all!pixiedust:

For all of us who were hoping, hoping, hoping for a MNSSHP on Labour Day weekend, it appears we are out of luck  .

Park hours have been updated:

http://media.disneywebcontent.com/StaticFiles/ParkHours/WDWTravelAgent_August.pdf

MK now closes at 11, not 7 pm, on August 29th.

So disappointed. :(
And November hours were released today that shows no MNSSHP on November 1st or 2nd, which some people were hoping. It looks like they are trying to confine MNSSHP to September and October.

We are going august 4th-9th! Staying in a royal room at POR! It will be our first time and I'm so excited!

OK BUT. It looks like some of AK's hours have been extended to 8pm?! Does that mean we might be able to catch some of AK in the dark?!

I have been to disney before, but have never stayed at one of their resorts before. I had been hoping for a nemo suite, but those were all taken for the discount I was getting:(

What about 9/1/14. They may update those hours too but as of right now it still shows MK closing at 7pm.:confused3

It was a beautiful dream. :cloud9:
 But sadly it's over........

I say let's grab our costumes, head to the MK on the 29th and make our own party! :dance3: Okay, well it won't be quite the same without the candy, parades, dance parties, meet and greets and fireworks. :rotfl2:

I've gotta say....this has left me just a little more than a tad gutted :sad2: .

This will mean no Disney theme parks at all for us this trip (we have Discovery Cove already booked, 14 day tickets to SeaWorld and Aquatica, and annual passes to TL and BB). DS had desperately wanted to give Wet N Wild a try.....so maybe now I'll go ahead and buy the tickets. Sigh.

I know. Me too. Our DW annual passes expire on the 27th. Going to the party on the 29th would have been perfect ending to our trip since we leave on the 30th. Now I've got to figure out what to do.

Hi there! We're going to be at CSR too! On the exact same days!!! Maybe we'll see you there??? :). Our first time there too!

That's awesome!!! We'll be two newbies there and we can help each other find everything!!:cool1:

Major bummer on the no party 29th news. :(

It is nice to know though so I can get back to my original plan before I found out from you guys that a potential party was in the works.

Talk about a big tease on the park hours.

At least I got my Disney planning DVD in the mail yesterday. We're going to watch it today and get back into the Disney spirit. :goodvibes
