Girls trip August 2014. Celebrating my 27th bday. So excited!! Can't wait till August 8th! Ahhhhhhhhhh!

Jumping on board for my Family Honeymoon in August!! We also have my Soon to be husbands birthday and my youngest daughters birthday to celebrate on the same trip.

Going to POP for the first time! Always have been at the ASMo or ASMu.

Both trips sound like a lot of fun! In different ways of course!

We just booked Aug 21-28 at AKL! It's our first time n a deluxe and we are so excited! Now we are trying to decide between QSDP and DDP. Any tips?

We are looking into the Telus US travel plan but DH is talking about Roam too. I'd be interested to see how your test run goes! Woohoo, disney here we come!

Myself, DH and DSis are going Aug. 3 - 8th and staying at ASSp.

It's my Sis's first trip since 2001 so she's very excited...has never experienced Disney as an adult lol.

We just decided to bring our princess for a SURPRISE birthday trip...Aug 11-17. We are so excited, the kids think we are taking a summer trip to Hershey park, can't wait to see their faces when the find out where we are really going!

Can't wait for my special princess to spend her 7th bday with the princesses at CRT!!!

We are getting the dining plan, and I have made several reservations. I'm planning on using out food credits primarily for lunches and dinners. Our family isn't huge on breakfast. Granola bars and cereal will do the trick. Has anyone ever had food delivered to their hotel before?

We are going to be at POFQ from August 20-29. This will be our 6th trip to Disney and our 2nd time at POFQ

QOTD I know most of us go to Florida with family/friends and probably do pretty much everything with at least one other person, but I was wondering........What (if anything) do you do all by yourself on your trip?

Do you ever go to a park on your own? Or swim or shop on your own? Tell us what you like to do all by yourself!

I rarely do anything by myself on vacation. Usually out of the 4 of us, DH, DD, and DS, someone wants to join in the shopping, swimming,etc. That may change this year when it's just DH and me. He doesn't like shopping like I do

That's cool! I like to do the opposite. My husband will take the kids back to the resort after dinner for a swim and then to bed while I tour either Epcot or MK on my own. I usually do it once or twice on our trip.

Sometimes just grabbing a coffee while everyone is still asleep in the morning is a real treat too!

My DH has taken the kids on ride, after ride while I've gone shopping. One year I went back to Pop by myself while DH took the kids to ride the monorail.

Hmmmmmm..... lol, there's not much!

Aside from getting up before the boys to make coffee (and possibly enjoy a cup on the balcony before the aroma rouses my DH), there's very little I do alone.

Our kids go to bed pretty early, so I'm excited about my husband staying with the kids once or twice so I can go back to a park by myself or shopping in DTD. And I'll return the favor--he'll probably choose DTD/Disney Quest.

Yes we have had delivery from garden grocer last August. They were quick and easy to deal with, on time and had exactly what we were looking for. This year we're renting a car a couple days so we'll just stop at Walmart and pick up what we want but if that's not an option for you garden grocer was great!

Achievement Unlocked: Got the grandparents to come down to join us on our Disney vacation in August. They only get to see their ONLY granchild once a year (we're in TX, they're in NY). Bonus points: My dad's birthday is that weekend as well!

I can't really think of anything I do on my own, maybe grab food for everyone, but that's not exactly alone.

My morning walk to get coffee. I'm not much of a morning person, so that little bit of time by myself helps get me going....along with the coffee.
