Update: My sodium concentration was the lowest number it could be and still be normal. So for now my doctor is leaving things as they are. Still makes me nervous though. One good thing is that now I recognize what's making me feel achy, headachy, foggy. Thanks for your kind words the last few days.

Hi everyone, I am glad everybody is having fun with their adrs.

I have been pretty quiet about this new fp+ system till last night when I saw a thread about pictures for return times at the fp+kiosks. I am really worried about this trip as far as that goes, I really think that is the new way things are going to be. I am trying to stay excited but it is hard.

Gina, I just want to say I am very sorry to hear about your cat. We have several cats and they are our family too. Every time one goes through something likes this it breaks my heart. I will keep you and your kitty in my thoughts.

I hear ya! I'm in CT and it's basically the arctic-climbing over ice to get to everything, walking through snow tunnels. 6 months!!!

I'm in CT, too. Another 4 inches expected today on top of the 3ft already sitting here. Crazy. When it's sweltering in WDW in August, no one will hear a peep from me. I'll be the one smiling and holding a frosty beverage of the cocktail kind.

GF IPO did an awesome job securing my ADR requests!

8/17 LLT dinner (New for us)
8/18 Rose & Crown lunch
8/19 Narcoosee's Date Night dinner (Boys will go to a Kid's Club)
8/20 Brown Derby Fantasmic Dinner pkg (Super psyched for this since we've never seen Fantasmic or eaten at the BD.)
8/21 BOG early dinner

I have to wait a few more days to book the second half of our split stay, but really happy so far. Good luck to everyone trying for ADR's.

I did ours this morning and it took about 35 minutes on-line (laptop). I can post them later. One thing I wish I had realized, though--I initially searched for each reservation by meal ("breakfast") and was being offered very limited times. When I actually searched by the time I wanted ("8:00 am"), I was offered times much closer to the ones I was looking for. I assumed that a breakfast search would reveal ALL times available from 8 am to 11 am, for example, but it didn't. I did a "breakfast" search for Crystal Palace and the first time available was 8:45. I did a search for "8 am" and they gave me one for 8:05!

That's crazy, that happened to me too. Glad you got what you wanted!!

I booked the Auto Train today!! It's official!! Now it seems more official. I paid for priority to get my car faster.. I heard reviews that it could take up to 2 hours to get your car.

We have already asked where she wants to eat and will let her pick our park(s) that day, and we know to get her a birthday button. We are not doing BBB (did last year and it was great but that was a one-time treat), and there are no special characters she wants to see that day. I am planning on doing pick-a-pearl with all 3 of my girls as a surprise, so that's out, too.

Thoughts? Ideas? I'd love any input. TIA!

Not sure exactly when yet, but it looks like we'll be at WDW in early August, most likely staying at OKW. Will be a different kind of trip, just my wife and I, and at the moment not planning on going to the parks (although that's subject to change if we get there and can't stay away ).

If she likes pirates, you might consider the Pirates League in MK. My son did it and there were plenty of girls getting made up as pirates at the same time. It was very cute and the CM's there do an incredible job making the kids look great. Kids are given a unique pirate name and some nice things come with the basic package, which 2 years ago was $30- something. Can't remember exactly. Don't know if there's been a price increase since, but felt then it was worth the money.

Hi, me too! Hanging out at home with the kids....again. I never post this much on the DIS. We're in northern Fairfield county and like you, cannot wait for August. Or temps above freezing at the very least.

If you're interested in Characters in Flight keep an eye for groupons. If you search the Floridia area- I know they have discounts at different times during the year. They are 35-44% savings.

Another groupon idea (depending on how adventurous you are) is a Sammy Duvall parasailing for $58 instead of $95. It leaves from the Contemporary. Again, these are offered off and on at different times a year but it's worth a check in now and again if it's something you want.

My boys are 10 and 11 and we've gone the las few years. They love and want to see each time:
T-Rex in DTD (food even not bad)
Garden Grill at Epcot (we all love this one chip n dale and Mickey, Pluto). Very relaxing
Sci Fi at DHS. Such a cool atmosphere but stick to burgers
They even like Crystal Palace and think it is the coolest thing ever to get into MK before it opens with an early ADR

Thanks! SciFi and TRex are definitely on my list. Ive never been to the Garden Grill but I think you're right and they'll like it. DH doesnt like Crystal Palace but I told him it's not for him lol. I never would have thought to make an early res for it. That sounds awesome. I think I'd be more excited being there before it opens than they will haha
