I might getting out on saturday as well, maybe like 4pm to ORD and overnight. We want to take the first flight out Chicago on Sunday morning.

I am packing and having pizza with the kids right now. I told DH Issac or not, we are going to Disney. I will be finishing packing tonight and ready to go for Saturday, Sunday or Monday whenever we need to get on that plane.

we are watching Tangled right now. Just chilling out! I came to understand and at peace with the weather. Nothing I can control over of.

5 more days for us. Leaving on an 11 am flight out of JFK on Tuesday. If things keep going the way they are it doesn't look like Isaac will be causing us much of a problem

Thanks netnurse31 for the map. I won't lie, I have been nervous about this since I learned about it (I tried to convince myself otherwise). I am more nervous about our flight, not so much the storm once we get there....I just want to go and have nothing in our way. Also the fact that I don't really do too well with flying anyways, then knowing that a tropical storm or possible hurricane may be in our way, on the day we are due to arrive, was not sitting pretty with me.

I already had a stroller cover that I got for, I think, $12 at Babies R Us. We've tested it a couple times at Valleyfair and the zoo in the rain and it works SO much better than trying to pin or tie a poncho over the stroller. I think you'll be happy with that purchase!

I'm keeping the rain gear receipts so I can return them if we don't end up needing them

Talk about the stroller cover. DH said: there is no such thing and specially for a double jogging stroller. He didnt even know it was existed. His idea was cover his poncho. I am so happy when I found one for cheap on Amazon.

We had a GREAT day at Animal Kingdom today! We picked up our tickets 3 days early, no issues. WE ere able to ride Safari x3, Everst, Kali River Rapidsx4, Primeval Whirl, Dinosaur, Triceratop Spin, see Festival of the Lion King, It's Tough to be a Bug, and Finding Nemo. We left around 5pm, and never aited for ANYTHING other then 15 minutes for Primeval Whirl.

Well I have officially left the job here in Indiana. Packing and cleaning for the next 4 days then off to Disney The last 2 weeks have went by so fast I hope that everyones vactions are going well. Looks like there will be rain on the drive down. Oh well maybe it will be sunny by the time we arrive for check in on the 29th.

You are AWESOME!!!!....I really needed to see that. I am crossing my fingers and praying that it stays at that course (however I feel sorry for those living or going on the Gulf side of the state). Now I can coast through these last few days with ease, except that I still have to pack .

We made it! Kids are sleeping in our room at the ASMu and DH and I just keep saying o each other, "we made it!". The weather was gorgeous this evening, and the food court for dinner was yummy. Tomorrow, we're going to explore resorts, DTD, maybe do a monorail tour. I don't think we'll pick up our tickets early since there's lots to keep us busy without going to the parks. Aiming for MK on Saturday morning.
When we drove through the big WDW arch, DD4 immediately said, "we're at Disney? Where's Minnie??"

Well it's Thursday night I'm sitting in POP and we check out tomorrow morn. We had a great week and enjoyed every minute of our vacation in WDW except for early this morning when my DD got very sick. Don't feel bad for me having to check out already because on Monday we check into POR for another five days of Disney!

We might see you at POR! DH made Mickey ears for his Tilley hat, so we'll be easy to spot. Say hi if you see a family all dressed n matching shirts, with DH in that hat and team 8 badges everywhere! Yep, we're full fledged Disney geeks!

We just got to ASMu tonight but change to POR on Saturday for 7 nights. I can't wait to see the difference between the 2 resorts! It's my first time staying onsite!
