Morning!

My trip to Maine this past weekend to surprise my DB went great! I made him a scrapbook and the first page was a picture of out DGNs that are going too, holding up a sign with the castle at night and fireworks behind it that says, "Uncle Mike, You are going to WDW with us. Happy Birthday!" and then I filled the other pages with his flight info, hotel reservations, ADRs, park schedule, etc. He just kept saying "OMG No Way!!"

It was great! Now I just have to figure out how to surprise my DSis who doesn't know my DB is going. Maybe he will be mousekeeping bringing us something to our room? His flight arrives about a 1/2 hour after ours so I need to get the family out of the airport and on ME before he gets there. Or maybe he'll be sitting poolside when we go down for a swim after we get settled. Any other ideas?

I leave in 3 days!!! Whoo hoo!! However...DS got sick last night....I think from coughing too much. Slept in til 11 am today!! Was fine during the day....but now I hear him in bed coughing...he's not waking up...but still!! I'm debating whether to take him to the dr. Just in case...I'd hate to get there and he get worse!! We're not leaving for the hotel until Wed. night...so I have 2 days to make a decision!! Please send some pixie dust this way that he's all better in the a.m.!!!!

I hope DS is feeling better. I would take him to the doc just to be sure.

Did I mention I am terrified? It never ever goes as badly as I imagine it will but I am still a ball of anxiety. Sigh. Time to put on my big girl pants.

I'll be able to relax and get excited for the trip again once this is done.

I'm sure everything will be OK. Just think about all the fun you will be having in 16 days.

How is everyone planning to wear their DIS name tags (for those that are) Am I supposed to punch a hole through it and run a piece of yarn thru it and letting it hang in the breeze or what? Im thinking its going to get ruined after the first day

I bought some of the laminating sheets at Walmart hoping this will help keep the name tag intact. Then I will punch a hole in it and attach it to whichever bag I will be taking with me.

OUCH! So sorry! I hope all goes well. I had a cleaning yesterday and that freaks me out but I do it every 6 months now so it makes it less bad. Are they going to put you to sleep? I had a wisdom tooth out once (just one i didnt have insurance at the time and the one had an issue and the other 3 are straight and nice) but they put me to sleep so I don't know if it hurt. I remember DH taking care of me (when he was just DBF) and eating ice cream for dinner!

DH says he's going to call Disney today and tell him about it being for our anniversairy in addition to my first visit. lol I told him I didn't know how I felt about that. Yes it is partially an anniversairy present but its not our anniversairy. He wanted the confirmation number. I hope he won't upgrade our room without telling me. As in PAYING for an upgrade. He is the spender and its definitely something he would do. I felt kind of nervous giving him the confirmation number.

Meanwhile I need to order Body Glide online or get the monistat anti-chaf tonight at Walmart. the small sizes of Body Glide with free shipping are sold out so I'm going to have to buy a bigger one (free shipping). I kept putting it off hoping they'd bring back more of the smaller ones with free shipping. Oh well. Must decide soon bc I want it to get here b4 i leave if i order online.............

but part of me is starting to stress!!! I still work 9 of 12 days, plus I need to finish activity books, clean house spotless, pack, make car C.D's, make my father a new CD b/c he is sooking, do back to school shopping, take the van in to be serviced (oil change, chek the air conditioner, etc), finish autograph books, the list just keeps going! I guess tonight I crack down! No more procrastinating!

Yay! Everyone will get everything done! Dont worry (I say that - I am sure come next week it will hit that we are going to Disney next week and the panic will set in). We are far from prepared as of now.

You just reminded me that I need an oil change!

Last year I wore my LGMH on my backpack and only one person that noticed it said anything about it, and that was when the backpack was on my lap while sitting on a bus. This year I made mine a button and will attach it to my hat. You will need to lammanate it or bring a couple of dozen with you because you are right it won't last long.

I double laminated one that is going on my lanyard (you can see how it came out on the first page in the mickey head pics) and then I have one laminated to go on my ECV.

I have a quick question about on-line reservations: I just doubled checked with my TA and she already put a room request on my reservation. when I do the on-line ressie, do I need to do it again? The reason I'm asking is because the options available for room requests does not include what I'm looking for.

Why don't you think about faxing the room assigner at your hotel? You can do it 10 days before you arrive with your specific request for your stay. It works well for us when we stayed at Pop Century... we got exactly what we asked for.
