****OFFICIAL August, 2012 (PART 2)****

We told the kids on Sunday. I missed chatting with them about the upcoming trip....their excitement is contagious! It has also given me a chance to retool a few things in our plan. I was going to go directly to MK after checking in to get the boys a haircut with Mickey gel. It was too rushed though, so now we are heading to EPCOT to try Agent P's World Showcase Adventure on our first night. This gives us a day and a half in EPCOT. They don't know that we are going to go to Sea World. They have never been. I haven't been in 20 years....any suggestions?
2 weeks to go!:dance3:

:thumbsup2 I am PACKED! Everything is in one suit case and one carry on including clothes for 8 days, a box of cereal, and paper cereal bowls, 2 (4packs) gogo squeeze apple sauce, a box of cheese it mix, about 8 packs fruit snacks, few other treats,4 mister fans, 4 froggs tog cooling towel canisters, small bottle capt morgan and a closet organizer!

DH is going to have to put his sneakers in his back pack, they did not fit!

:worship: :worship: :worship:

Wow.....I won't even come close to reducing stuff down to that few suitcases. We will have a full sized suitcase and a carry on for each of us.....thank heavens for Jetblue's generous baggage policy :rotfl:.

Does anyone else have any last minute milestones to reach before they go?

Unfortunately I do now.

I have a wisdom tooth that I should have had removed oh.. about 20 years ago. It cracked in half:crazy2:
Hurts like the dickens and I have to go have an extraction done. I don't even want to think about what they're going to have to do to get it all out since half of it is under the gum and there is nothing to grab onto:crazy2:

It isn't hurting right now, but I got 2 hours sleep because of the pain and I can't go in until next Monday.

At least it didn't happen on our trip right? Did I mention I loathe going to the dentist. Ugh. I am so cranky.

That is seriously one of my biggest fears. My wisdom teeth are so impacted that they sit sideways in my jaw, I've been told I need to get them out, and then on a 2nd opinion I've been told they are so impacted they will never surface so I don't know what to think. I haven't yet found a dentist who will touch them, not that I want to.

That is exactly how all four of my dd's wisdom teeth are coming in. Completely sideways and under the gum. She has beautiful teeth and her dentist says they must come out to prevent crowding and jaw pain (which is starting). So she'll need them done this year sometime. My understanding is that they will do them under complete sedation.
Actually you strangely just made me feel better. If my poor dd can deal with that, her mom can be a big girl and suck it up and get this tooth out:)

ETA) She did start complaining in the last 3 or 4 months periodically of an achy jaw and headaches, which is what the dentist said to watch for, so she'll need them out soon. I am thinking after Christmas so she doesn't miss school and has a week to recover. I should probably book it while I am there on Monday.

Okay, I made a couple of minor changes to my ADRs and feel so much better! :goodvibes

We're now going to Restaurant Marrakesh instead of Biergarten on 8/19 at noon. I think since we've been to Biergarten before it'll be a lot more fun to try a new restaurant!

I also moved our Kona Cafe ADR to 7:45 so we can eat dinner too (we were only doing dessert before).

15 days left here (and 8 days of work, but who's counting!! :rotfl:)!

Completed my online check in today. We leave Sunday morning, estimated arrival 8pm! WOHOO!!!!:cheer2:

Hopefully, she will be able to make it that long. All 4 of mine were impacted and I started having the jaw pain and headaches. It got so bad I couldn't wait to go home for Christmas break. So, I found a local oral surgeon and had them done. After the first day, I was so glad I had it done.

We leave in 5 days :cool1: but now DD6 has a fever and no other sympthoms. :sad2: Hopefully it goes away over night so we don't have to make a trip to the doctor tomorrow.

My kids used to do that all the time! Big holiday coming up? They were sick! Vacation? They were sick! Seemed like any time something big was happening they would get sick. Good news is they always got better before the big event actually occurred.

Here's hoping she wakes up tomorrow fever free!

TOMORROW TOMORROW I LOVE YA TOMORROW YOU'RE ONLY A DAY AWAYYYYYY :cool1::goodvibes

Probably will not get any work done today because my brain is already in Disney.

Did online checkin this morning for Southwest and got B boarding 02,03,04,05 so we will definitely be getting seats together which is one less thing I have to obsess about now! :thumbsup2

Oh good luck to everyone with wisdom teeth...my DD had hers all out in November. Her bottom ones were impacted, 1 top was thru but they were pushing her teeth out of alignment. She had been out of braces for 1.5 years but her orthodontist recommended getting them removed. (I did private pay for everything so I didnt want to see her teeth go bad)

Poor thing, she had an extra one up top and the combination of meds they gave her after sent her into kidney failure and she spent a week in the hospital. :guilty: I felt so guilty for making her get it done. Thankfully she came out of it with no lasting problems but I still felt awful.

Hope she feels better soon! My son just got over some kind of viral infection that had a high fever for 2 days and then 5 days of a horrible sore throat.
