my friend just sent me a picture of DD's Lilo dress. It's so cute! It's dark pink instead of red because DD is more a pink girl (read: total pink & purple princess). Hope it works- this is my first attempt at posting a pic.

QOTD Do you have any other fun summer or vacation plans coming up this year?

No plans. I have lots of family with birthdays in September as well as my Godson's first birthday (best friend's child) and they are all a good 3-5 hrs away so if we go to birthday parties that's like a mini-trip kinda. Though as much as I'd like to visit family driving is not how I like to spend my weekends. I'd prefer to stay home and relax.

Spent another great day at our pool.

32 more days before we get to surprise our kids. I am now starting to find it harder no to talk about the trip.

Still haven't finished my garden grocer order. Since we get the refillable mugs I am not sure whether to order juice pouches for the kids. I will be willing to go to the food court to get their drinks. So trying to make sure I get everything we need without ordering too much.

Nothing else for this summer - work has been super busy for both of us, so no down time.
We're going to try to sneak in a weekend in the mountains after schools starts again (DH is a bus driver), but that may not be till October.

I joined! The only problem with it being an open group is that anything we post on there will show up on our timelines for all our friends to read. I'd kind of rather not have that if it's possible to change the settings......

Oh and BTW, my ME tags finally came today!!

I actually got them a few months ago (because I called ME directly) but my flight numbers changed so I had to order them again. I was getting nervous because now we are less than 4 weeks ago so that's a relief!

I also pre-ordered my photopass CD this morning so now all I have to do is transfer my reward $$......and a list of about 87 other things.....

Already went to my parents house in Jersey for 10 days. My boys stayed there for an extra 10 days and then my sister brought them home. She was here for 4 days and left but my nephew stayed here and we haven't figured out when he's going back yet. No plans to go anywhere else...I think. My bestest girlfriend's husband got orders back to Camp Lejeune, NC after spending 3 years in Okinawa so we plan to get together one weekend, just not sure when and where yet. Her oldest is heading off to college so it probably won't be until the fall.

DH & I went out to lunch at Cheeseburger in Paradise ~ yummy! I'd never been there before. I think the restaurant is 8 miles or so from my house. We walked out of there and it was really cloudy but still pretty bright. By the time we got home, it was thunder/lightning/downpouring.

I've been scouring the web and stores for a small, lightweight "wallet" to hold our room keys and photopass cards around our necks. This is the closest thing I can find, but you have to buy 10 and I'd only need 3 or 4 (DD may want one to not feel left out)

I really want something small and light. And cheap. Anyone have any other suggestions? Or want to go halfsies with me on a set of 10?

These are great! I have a couple from conferences I stashed away for that very purpose! I would double check what you buy though as I've been on many a convention where the strings snap when stuff that is too heavy is put in. But many work - I know I usually throw my cellphone in one of those.

For our last trip, I didn't have this and just used a regular name badge holder for my kids.Doesn';t have zippered pockets, but works just fine for the KTTW and Photopass. I needed something bigger and used a tiny crossbody purse. On our cruise, I just got lanyards, got holes punched in our cards and we wore them that way. More than likely I will go this route for my kids as they want to wear their pins on lanyards anyway.

36 days to go, and i'm rethinking most of our ADR's. In fact just cancelled Sci-Fi for Coral Reef.. Not a bad choice if I say so myself. Why do i have to be so indecsive?

I'm having ADR indecision right now as well! I just added Beaches and Cream to my plans. I think we'll have the Kitchen Sink for dinner!! Then we're headed to DtD for DisneyQuest and will fill up later with apps at Planet Hollywood with our $15 voucher. I'm debating intensely with myself whether or not to keep my 8:15am ADR at Tusker House. At this point...I probably will just keep it mostly because if not, i'll be waiting outside the park for RD anyway.
