Dilema- We are staying at POP 8/6/11-8/8/11, then condo at Fountains. We have been to Disney several times. This is just me and DH this time. We have 2 day hopper passes. Orginally not staying at Disney at all, but with magical express it was the same price at staying at DTD hotels. then we are taking express back to airport on Monday to pickup rental car and go to condo. I have never had time to fully explore DTD and boardwalk area as with tickets seemed like you were wasting time that could be at parks. So, do we use 1 or 2 days of tickets while at POP and come back to do parks or wait until condo for both days and enjoy outside parks at Disney? I was leaning towards going Sunday and then waiting for other day??

Literally realized today that we will be there in less than 3 weeks..... Aug 20-27 @ POP. Time flies!! Just placed my garden grocer order.....
Excited to go, but this trip was for the "last week of summer" and it means it's all over (summer, that is).

August 14-17th just my granddaughter and I and we're staying at the poly. I can't believe she suckered me into going in the summer...we're Floridians and should know better but I'm a sucker and can't tell her no.

Less than 3 weeks!!! Getting so excited now.

This is the first BIG trip our blended family of 5 has taken - so I needed to get some new luggage. One big suitcase wasn't gonna cut it for 5 people. LOL. I think we're going to end up with 3 checked bags and then just a few carry-ons for plane activities, pj's, and a spare outfit in case our big bags get lost.

It seems like a lot of luggage, but I have to have room to pack b'day gifts for the youngest and we're bringing a bunch of snack foods down with us - little bags of trail mix, granola bars, crackers, etc. My kids are ALWAYS hungry so even with 2 snacks a day on the dining plan, I know they'll want more. LOL. Then we need room for whatever they acquire while we are there.

And I had some fun this morning printing out some window clings and door magnets so we can decorate a little during our stay.

Quick question: This is our first full vacation at Villas in OKW and wondered if we are supposed to receive anything in the mail?? We haven't received anything yet so just curious. Appreciate it!

I haven't read through this entire thread, do you have a package? room only? rent points?
We are staying at OKW in just over a week, I booked a package, but received our documents well over a month ago.

If you are staying with time share points I don't think that you get any mail from Disney. We received a photopass card in the mail a few weeks ago with our resort reservation on it...staying at AKL Jambo house...only 5 days.....3 more working days to go!
