We just changed our dates from September to August....so we will be @ Pop from Aug. 19 - 29

ADRs in only 14 days!! OH MY!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
Aug. 14th - Aug. 19th Cabins at Ft. Wilderness Campground.

Party consists of:

Myself, my husband, our oldest son, a very, very dear friend and her son!

:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

We're staying at the Beach Club Villas August 7 - 17. (Prior to that I'll be at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel for a business conference. Then family will join me at BCV. Can't wait and hope to run into a few of you!
Gigi, PopPop, Matt (age 9) and Emily (age 5)

Tomorrow is my 180 day dining day and I just cannot seem to get very motivated. It's been a bad start to the year with my MIL passing away on Jan 2nd, annual audits at my job and my son getting sick with something different every single month since October!

I've been thinking of taking one day to visit Sea World. I've contacted them because he has a severe fish allergy to smell and touch. He's never tasted any or else he would probably have a life threatening reaction. Sea World doesn't serve any fish! They want their fish alive and not served on a dish! He would have to avoid the Penguin area due to high fish smell.

So far we are thinking of adding this to our dining plan:
Lunch Le Cellier
Castle Dinner
50's Prime Time
Whispering Canyone Cafe
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Fare Dinner

Anyone have any suggestions or any help with Sea World?

Updated the list so if there are any mistakes, please let me know.

So exciting!! Sea World is fun, or so I have heard. I have actually never been there. Yes, penguins are very dirty animals that have a very strong scent so staying away from them is probably very smart!

We will be there 8/23 to 8/31 POFQ:woohoo: So glad August hours came out, now to start planning our meals:yay::yay: I think my 180 days if Feb 24.
Happy planning everyone:goodvibes

Just had to share...I have been patiently waiting to purchase my airline tickets. Ok, maybe not so patiently but anyhow. I have found nonstop flights on Delta for $246/person RT. But, we (6 of us) could not all sit together and that price does not include $23.00 per bag each way. :scared1: Well, DH and I decided to wait for Southwest to open up their flights for late August.:confused3 This sure did pay off!!!!!:cool1: I was up at 7 am today and sure enough our dates were open. I got nonstop flights at the exact times we wanted for $179 round trip each!!!!!!! This includes free bags and no change fees in case we have to change our flight for some reason! I am giddy right now. It seems to real!:woohoo: Now to plan our days!!! Thanks for letting me share.;)

I had to pay that $179 for our way down with Southwest and today got the price of $143 for the way home.

We'll be there too!! Arriving at POP on Aug 27 and leaving Sept 4!! WOOOHOO! Can't wait!

We'll be at BLT 8/27-9/3. I'm very excited!
I booked flights on JetBlue this week. Last year I waited too long to book flights and airfare got crazy expensive!

Looks like the begining of August is going to be much slower than the end. I'm sure free dining plays a huge role in the attendance.

That's exactly what I was thinking! We can't take advantage of it since we're renting DVC points. Oh well, still should be fun!
We'll be checking in on the 7th at the Jambo house at AKL.:cool1:

And we may run into you guys in passing! This is our first time staying at AKL and I'm really looking forward to it! :dance3:

Wow, has everyone checked out Southwest's fares? They have some very good fares posted for Boston to MCO in late August now.

Unfortunately, I can't pull the trigger on it because I'm waiting to find out which day my youngest starts kindergarten. I'm really frustrated by that.

On the plus side my company had a banner year and I got a very generous bonus. When my manager popped into my office to give it to me he said "well, here's Disney on a plate for you." Given how bad the economy is, I'm grateful just to have a stable job, let alone get a bonus.

I'm really looking forward to my ADR window opening at the beginning of March!

Here's what I'm shooting for:

Chef Mickey
Tusker House
Boma
1900 Park Fare
Ohana
Norway
Crystal Palace

Thank you fee dining plan promo.

Sorry but we have a change of resort. We are now August 26-Sept. 3 at Port Orleans French Quarter. We are very excited. This will be our second time there and we really liked this resort!:yay:

We were there at the end of August last year and the crowds were quite low. We got a lot of baby swap passes that we never used because so many rides were walk-ons! It was free dining last year, too.
