We're coming in August too! New DVC members so doing a split stay to try two resorts: 18th-23rd at AKV (Jambo House) and 23rd-30th at BLT (home resort). Very excited!!

Excited about our upcoming trip to WDW! Reservations are August 12-18.2011 at FW Cabins. We've camped twice before in our fifth wheel but now that our teenagers don't fit in the bunks , we're staying in a Cabin!

Due to the girls summer activities, I've had to postpone our trip from early June to August. (wish there was a sweating smilie!) So I'm a bit concerned with crowd level and the heat. But just being in WDW should make it bearable!

BIG UPDATE!!

Okay, so, the list on the first page has been updated with everyone's new dates and places they are staying. As you will notice, some people are unsure of where they are staying or for how long. I have put question marks in said places. Here is a list of what I need from who to complete their itinerary here:

sscassel - where are you staying?
candsmain - where are you staying?
laughinplace2 - where are you staying?
sherriepaul - when do you leave?
3princemom - where are you staying?

I would love to stay at Disney forever too, but there must be a date you are returning, right?

Also, I am a bit competitive and I love reading the numbers, so here we go!

The least popular dates for traveling to Disney:

August 3, 4, 5 and 29! Come on people! If you are going during one of these days, speak up!!

The most popular dates to travel:

1. August 14th with 15 people
2. August 20th with 14 people(so close!!)
3. August 21st with 13 people

and an honorable mention for:

4. August 19th with 12 people

The race is close and it seems that everyone will be having a grand old time while there!

So far our reservations are still ok. Bought off ebay via who I thought would be a reputable seller back in Nov. (Watched him for over a year before buying) In Jan he disappears and sticks at least 12 ebay customers with no reservations. I still have a reservation and that is the really strange part. He can still cancel us up to our arrival day. We are going to wing it and hope that he doesn't cancel. I'm sure that will all the resorts in Orlando we'll find some place to stay if he does cancel us at the last minute.

Thanks me too! I found another thread on the DIS boards where they are many like us in the same situation. This DVC owner has 28 timeshares!
