Okay, very cool. I have a room only at 30% off right now. I'm assuming they will let me apply the new code and keep my reservation. First you guys tell me if there is a dining or ticket deal that I should be asking about as well. I need lots of hand holding to make sure I get the best deal!

It's nutts. We already have our rooms booked, why can't we keep our rooms and just discount them at a cheaper rate instead of telling us that our hotel is booked and we can't stay there at a cheaper rate.

I understand they lot a certain amount of rooms for the rates but sheesh, I really don't want to change from POP I just want a cheaper room rate lol

I am not sure what DDK is but we have a gardenview room at Poly w/DDP, parkhoppers and water parks. They said that was the only code that would work with our package.

Well, I just called & got a little bit of a saving...nothing to get too excited about! We have a confirmation for Music for Aug 20 to 24 (prior to our FD) with 10 day tickets & DDP for four nights....we just got a credit for $58.76 using the DDK code. Does this seem right?

The CM I spoke too said I was the first person he had this morning using this code!

No. Unfortunately Disney's hotels don't work like other chain hotels. Everyone goes through their central reservation system - us, travel agents, CMs, everyone.

Yay, I saved a little...

Originally my total was 2601.04 AAA rate at the Poly.

With the code it is 2376.00.

Now if my dh can get a post card like he has been getting all this year I will be one happy camper!

I am on the phone right now with cm. She is really good. Looks like we get the discount and get to add an extra day and water parks.
We are staying at the csr. I used DDK code. yeah!!!

I got very excited too! I knew it was too good to be true. I'm still happy with my rate, although 40% would have been better.

I think your right, it must be 35% off deluxes. I have 30% off a moderate currently and just called and the CM told me I have a better deal and not to change it. The new codes would have increased my price.

That's exactly what just happened to me. I found out that with the new code POR for 4 nights would be $498 versus $469 with my current pin code. Doh! Oh well. I'm still happy just a little disappointed.

With the new code DDK (room, tickets, DDP), we saved a total $130.11, every cent counts.

I am so disappointed. I was unable to upgrade to ddp at the Poly. I thought it would be no problem to just add code to exsisting resie, but there was no availability. Cm said most likely nothing will open up. If I call back, do they have a record of my calls?

Once you use a Travel Agent, you always have to use that Travel Agent for that reservation.

You can either go through that agent or cancel that reservation (if the fee isn't too high to cancel) and do it yourself.
