Did you guys see that Gwen won an Emmy last Friday for best younger actress?

And the actors in GL (which many of us watch) totally cleaned up! Reva, Jonathan, Billy (YAY!), and Dinah all won Emmys. The only categories they didn't win for were the Gwen one, and some dude from General Hospital won for best actor (I was hoping Josh would win for a Lewis 'family' sweep!).

I thought it was great! But then General Hospital won for best show- WTH? From the soap gossip section I read in TV Guide, their writing has been horrible this last year. Huh.

I've been hit and miss with the show, as I've been exercising for 30 minutes AS SOON AS I put my DD down for a nap. Sometimes that means missing half of ATWT. But I guess it's worth it if I can continue to lose a pound or so a week!

Emily Contemplates Ending Her Pregnancy; Meg Ends Things With Paul

Susan slaps Paul when she learns of Emily’s pregnancy. She tries to get Hal to keep Paul away from Emily, but he’s unable to because it’s not a police matter. Meg waits for Paul at home; Paul tells his wife that she’s pregnant; Hal tells Barbara. Emily assures Paul that she’ll get an abortion just as Meg walks in and finds out Em is pregnant. Paul tells Meg that Emily knows having a child in prison would be a big mistake; Susan congratulates Emily on her decision to abort the baby, knowing that is truly means that Paul and Emily are no more. Emily tells her mother that she’s terminating her pregnancy to make sure that Paul never raises it with Meg, so in reality it is all about Paul.

Henry arrives a little later asking for his money; Emily tells him where it is, and that she’s pregnant. Henry consoles her, letting her cry and doesn’t try to tell her what she should do. Later, Henry goes to pick up his money but sees an officer pick it up instead. Hal says that it’s evidence in Emily’s case; Henry swears it doesn’t belong to him. Hal informs Dusty and Jen of Emily’s pregnancy. Dusty promises Jen that he’ll take it easy on Emily; when he’s alone with Hal, Dusty accuses Hal of going soft on Emily. Back at the hospital, Emily apologizes to Jen and her baby. Jen and Emily share a few close moments. Jennifer confides that she considered terminating her pregnancy when she learned she got pregnant and it happy that she didn’t. Emily asks Jennifer if she should get an abortion. Jennifer answers truthfully; telling Emily that she isn’t comfortable with Emily being the mother of her future niece or nephew, but the choice is all hers.

Paul shows his romantic side when he romantically asks Meg to move in with him and she agrees. Paul returns to the hospital to check on Emily and learns she’s going to keep their child. Paul wants to know who’ll take care of the baby when Emily is sent to prison; Emily says she isn’t thinking that far ahead. Susan continues to try and talk Emily out of keeping the baby, adding that she’ll be the one to raise it. Emily throws Allison in her mother’s face, and tells her that Susan owes her. Jennifer accuses Meg and Paul of forcing Emily to get an abortion. When Jennifer leaves, Paul returns home with Emily’s good news. Paul swears to his love (Meg) that the baby won’t change anything between them, but Meg doesn’t believe so. Afraid that Paul will return to Emily, she ends their relationship…

When Luke tells Holden that he has something important to tell him, Holden reassures his son that he’s ready to hear whatever Luke has to say. Lily comes in soon after glad to know that Luke and Jade “broke up” and rambles on and on about the plethora of girls in his future. Luke drops a bomb on his parents….that’s he gay. Lily tells Luke that he’s confused and believes Jade convinced him to do this; Jade informs her “aunt” that she isn’t the only one who knew and points the finger at Holden. Holden admits to his wife that he was suspicious but couldn’t prove it. An irate Lily is livid that Holden would keep a secret of this magnitude from her. Holden tries to calm her down, telling her that they should be grateful that they have a healthy and happy son and should hope that he has a happy life….

Mike Is Arrested; Carly Doesn’t Improve Her Relationship with Jack

Nick swears that Jack is only arresting Mike because he hates the Kasnoff’s, but Carly defends Jack’s motives. Jack informs Mike that his DNA was found on the medal the dead girl was holding. Katie then coldly tells Jack that he’s still harboring bad feelings towards Mike due to the past issue with Sage's paternity. Nick then chimes in, stating that the real reason Jack is angry is because he broke up their marriage. This sets Carly off who puts Nick in his place, informing him that contrary to what he believes, he is not the reason why she and Jack are separated. Jack takes Mike in; Katie spends her wedding night with only her sister for company.

Just before Mike’s arraignment, Jack learns that the medal is missing from the evidence room. He goes to Jessica and she tells him that without the evidence, there can be no arraignment and Mike has to be released. Afterwards, Jack accuses Nick of stealing the medal to protect Mike. Carly defends Nick this time, setting Jack off even more. Later, while Nick is waiting for Hal, Carly searches Nick’s belongings and finds the medal. Elsewhere, Mike and Katie return home only to read in the paper that “life is imitating art”, associating Mike’s arrest with “Oakdale Confidential”. Katie blames the book for all of their problems, but Mike tells her it’s his fault for keeping secrets from her. Afterwards, the newlyweds enjoy their honeymoon.

Casey and Gwen Share A Moment in Chicago

Gwen whines to Casey about not getting the chance to tell Will about their trip to Chicago; Maddie casually tells Will. After Gwen and Casey miss the last bus home, she calls her husband to inform him that they won’t be back until the next day. The two ex-lovers fall sleep on each other’s shoulder’s after a long day. When they wake up, they share an awkward, yet familiar moment, and then quickly get away from each other so they can go home. Later when Maddie goes to tutor Will, she makes a casual joke about Casey falling asleep on Gwen’s shoulder. What will Will’s reaction be?

Still to come in May…..

The Return of Lucy Montgomery and Damien Grimaldi

Love the spoilers

And Love May sweeps!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking of this over night remind me... Damien they thought died in a boat fire after he tried to kidnap Luke and Holden tried to save him :confused3 am I thinkin' right... my memory's not what it used to be. :rotfl2:

I'm so bummed. I just read that the actress that plays Jennifer is leaving when her contract is up in June. :( I like her and I think she's great.

They said that they will recast her due to her current storyline.

Jen reminds me of the girl who used to be on the Bold and the Beautiful- played Brooke's daughter - forget her characters name. Anyhow she has her own Prime time series - Close to Home. I think we will see Jen again in a bigger role. Probably a good move on her part. I bet Gwen won't be around long either.

Thanks for the info!

YES! I agree. They are both great. She was Bridget. I loved her and the new Bridget is horrible.

I know we'll see her again soon. She's great. I also agree about Gwen too. She's very talented.

Well I do hate to see her go but like you all have said, I'm sure we will see more of her.

Lily has really disappointed me! I thought she would take this with Luke much better and that Holden would be the hard sell.

I agree about Lilly - seemed out of character for her.

I was happy to see that they had the spot about GLAAD at the end of the show though.

The actress that plays "Jade" has signed a 3 year contract. I'm not too happy about this.

It makes me think, though, that it will be found out that she, indeed, is Rose's daughter as has been rumored.

Not crazy about her.

I don't care much for her either - even if she really is Rose's daughter. It makes no sense that she is pretending not to be related to them.

OH JEEZ - you have to be kidding - three years? What are they going to do with her for three years??

I am not crazy about her or that story line -- but Paul grew on me so maybe Jade will to eventually. I kinda doubt it though.
