She was on not too long ago- brought Jack's son to see him. I can't remember her name ( I think she played Priscilla Presley in a made for tv movie too)... Alex Donnelly was the original Diane... but this last one was her for quite a while.

Our local CBS station is running some flashbacks of ATWT. Makes me sad. My mom use to make me take a nap when I was little so she could watch the show in silence. I use to sneak down the stairs and watch the show from the bottom steps. She knew I was there, but she wasn't going to leave the show to put me back in bed. She loved the show so much, she named me after Lisa. She died when I was 18. Watching all these flashbacks makes me think of her and how sad she would be.

My mom was a single Mom so she worked full time plus some. I used to LOVE the last 2 weeks of July because that is when she took her vacation- I can still remember her in the living room ironing and watching "As The" and watching with her. It was when the Barbara/James thing was the really big storyline.

She's got to be sad today- first "Guiding" and now "As The" I dont' know what she's gonna watch on tv now.

i haven't really watched this show since before the old lily left so i had to make a point of recording it today to remind me to watch it.

we're not even 10 minutes in and i'm already crying.

i hope they do some flash backs cause i'd like to see hal, andy, franny, again

Ok I wasn't that emotional at all at the end. Now had they showed the faces of all the charcaters past & present in that globe I would have probably lost it!

Boring!! I was a hot mess during the Guiding Light Finale! I cried through the whole thing! ATWT finale was sweet but completely boring!

ya i went from tears to being chocked up to remembering why i stopped watching.

thought i thought it was nice that they had bob talking and i know they had to wrap everything up nice and neet but still....

I think I'm not as sad because one of my favorite reasons to watch was Carly, and now she'll be on Y&R! I'll miss Jack too. I had the opportunity to meet Michael Park back in 2000 - he is just as genuinely nice as his charcater of Jack! I should dig those pics out sometime. I was 8 months pregnant...ugh, maybe not. I have pics with Jon Hensley too, from 1987 - oh my Lord he was such a hottie back then. Not so much any more! That was back when Lily/Holden/Dusty/Meg were all the rage. I had hermit crabs back then, they were named Holden & Dusty. They ate each other alive (literally), go figure.

It was nice. I like that they made everyone happy.

But I do wish they did something with flashbacks or showing old faces on the globe at the end.

Oh well. I will surely miss it.

What will be in it's place next week? A talk show?

I can't wait to see some of these actors elsewhere. Carly and Simon on Y&R, right? I hope we see Jack, Katie and Molly elsewhere very soon.

I was hoping that they would show a finale shot with everyone that has been in the show in recent times at the end saying farewell or something like that.... I was actually kind of bummed that they didn't...

I just started watching today's show, and I'm blubbering like an idiot. Good thing dh is at a ballgame and the kids are asleep. I can't believe it is over.

I just read that some scenes were cut-Craig, Ro, and Johnny; and Faith and Parker. I hate that. I want all of them to have closure. And I really wanted Lisa to get a man!

hi everybody

i can't believe my soap days are over 1st guiding light (omg did i cry on that day...the whole week!) and now my atwt.

i was surprised they didn't show past clips or a last cast photo at the end. they didn't even do a full cast credit at the end.

i was really laughing when johnny boy came in and lisa stopped him. i always loved him and lucy together.

where was emma? shame what they did to the snyders. and wait...why didn't james show up? he's been brought back so many times, what would 1 more final time been?!

the globe at the end was cool and i like how he said goodnight (the 1st show started with good morning).

it could have been better and i seriously hope i get to see henry and a few others on different things...not soaps, i'm not watching anymore!

I'm so sad. I haven't watched yesterdays show yet- I'm going to watch it with my Mom sometime this weekend.
