Oh my the last few days seem to have stalled. We only have 3....and it feels like we will never get there. Wow, Disney with no kids....someday. For now, we take the kids, then when we get back we are going away for the weekend the next week to recover:rotfl2:

We have never done Disney WITH kids. Our first trip was as empty-nesters. When we told our kids we were going, one said, "What? You never took US to Disney World!" Um, yeah, because we couldn't afford six people. :rotfl2:

How is the noise level at night? We go to bed early (like 8-9) so i was wondering if the pool activity gets loud
No noise issues at all. Very quiet to sleep. They were filming a commercial at the pool last night and I didn't hear a thing.

I LOVED Disney when it was just me and DH. I'm trying to pull for another trip without the kid(s) but I think DH would have a hard time leaving DS behind.
I imagine we'll go plenty when we're empty nesters though.

my parents did that. They have gone with us 3 times, and by themselves a couple also. They never took us as kids, couldn't afford it. I went for the first time with my DH, for our honeymoon when I was 19. ( yup got married at 19- bit we just celebrated 18th anniversary). Wish I could have been there as a kid, but totally understand why they couldn't afford it.

I finally finished my shirts! I don't know how some of you do more than 10 of those! I fought with my printer for hours but they are done!!

Question, we are coaching t ball so I want to bring something back for the 7 kids on the team, any ideas of what I should look for? They are 3-6 in age. I saw a photo of these cool characters on a stick Packaged but have no clue what they were.

The Rice Krispie Mickies on a stick would be great!

This is our first trip without the kids - my husband has a conference in Orlando that week, so we are going solo. I'm still trying to not feel guilty about it, but I know we will have a great time.

Hope your three days flies by and then your time at Disney crawls :goodvibes

I'm dying to go sans kids; I'm hoping to talk DH into it this summer. If not, maybe drag a girlfriend along.
DH and I went before we were married and then to DL on our honeymoon. But that's before I was a real Disney nut so I didn't really take the time to savor/appreciate everything that I would now (but can't because I'm too busy focusing on the kids!)

10 days for us too with no kids or grandkids. Celebrating 35 yrs!!. It is taking too long to count down the days.

Congratulations on your anniversary!! This is our first trip without kids or grandkids and I am really looking forward to it. I wasn't sure I would be as excited about it without them, but now that we getting kind of close I am almost giddy :)

Yay! Three days to go! Still have laundry to do and all my packing. Wishing I was home right now to do it. Work is certainly dragging this week. It doesn't help that we are currently under a Winter Storm Watch and it's snowing!! Yuck!! Can't wait to wear shorts again! Hope Disney will pardon my pastey white legs! Haha

I've been hitting the gym 3 days a week for months and taking full advantage of their free tanning.
