DS (11) and I will be visiting WDW April 23-27th Staying at AKL

Here's our itinerary.

24TH Disney Studios AM, Sci Fi Lunch, MK Afternoon, back to DS for Fantasmic
25TH EE @ MK, Afternoon Animal Kingdom, Back to MK for Fireworks
26TH Epcot all day with biergarten dinner.

Son is looking forward to doing Sorcerers of MK.
I'm looking forward to food & beverages at Food & Garden festival.

I wish I could stay longer, but I'm only there the 22nd-24th. Checking into POP on the 22nd, spending all day at MK on the 23rd, then sadly driving back home on the 24th.

Our second lot of Mickey Mail finally came! :stitch:
Single digits now, its starting to feel real. 12 hours spent on aeroplanes and 18 hours of travelling, but its definitely worth it for a trip to the happiest place on earth. Can't wait to see Cinderella's Castle for the first time! :sulley: :ccat:

19 days today!!!!! Only 14 work/school days left!!! I am getting so excited.

DH decided we may get tickets to the Bruins/Carolina game and see it when we stop for the night Sat. My DS is super excited!

We weren't able to get Bruins tix in Boston this year. :(. And they are way cheaper.

We have been wanting to try Sorcerers of MK too. :)

We leave in 6 days......can't wait. Our family needs a vacation this year more than ever. Staying at the Wilderness Lodge in the villas. We are going to spend more time relaxing at the resort than in the parks but we will hit a few park openings to do some of our favorites. This is the first time our family is staying in a deluxe resort.....I am hoping we love it and don't miss the Coronado.

I'm sure you love it!! You may never want to go back. :)

The WL is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I haven't done the villas, just the regular lodge, but the whole resort just exudes relaxation. :cloud9:

I agree with the others who said Wilderness Lodge is amazing! You will love it. Great theming and you can't beat the location.

We leave in 8 days!

We bought our APs and are picking them up at the park our first day. I am so excited!!! This is the first time we have been able to buy APs. :)

We were looking at driving routes again today. It's getting really close. I'm going to start getting clothes together this week. Hopefully put them in bags next weekend.

We are off to my parents for Easter, than back ay home for 1week before Disney. The cleaning lady is coming tomorrow and while I am not packed yet, all my summer clothes, special Disney items, toys and travel size cosmetics and pharmacy-travel items are in a corner of the room. So how early is too early? More than 3months out!!!

I'm trying to decide how early is too early to start packing :rotfl:

DW and I set "one month" as the end of "too early to pack". We leave one month from today. So, I'm pulling the suitcases out of storage real soon now.

We keep the travel items packed all the time and have been collecting Disney stuff for a while. We've been waiting to select clothes. We still have snow at home but WDW could be above 80. So, we won't be needing our summer clothes before Disney.

I'm not worried about my clothes. Everything I need to wear will be available at Disney. Except for shoes, I never have a problem buying anything off the rack.

But, my DW is a different story. She's lost 40 pounds in the last year (due to surgery). So, nothing she owns fits. Even going to the mall she has trouble finding anything that fits. They usually rush the season but don't seem to have summer clothes out yet. She might be forced to buy when we get there. I just hope I don't spend the entire vacation sitting there while she tries stuff on!

Starting to make the packing preparations! We pulled out all of our luggage today to see what was in good shape and what needed to be tossed. We had water in the basement a few years in a row and a couple of our bags had grown mold even though they were on the top shelf:confused3 Those got tossed! We ordered some new today, also some hand sanitizer that is supposed to be more effective against noro and DD a fanny pack.

We were going over the budget yesterday and decided on how much spending money the kids would get. This morning I mentioned to the kids that they could have some of the money Nana and Grandpa (who gave us the trip for Christmas :worship:) for themselves to spend at the parks. They got all excited and said how much? $20, $10, $5??? Equally excited about any amount. DH and I are chuckling away. We might give them a Disney gift card at the beginning of the trip, then the second day oh, by the way here's some cash, third day a little more etc.... They will be so surprised :rotfl:

26 days out and we're starting to pack this weekend...my bows from Magical Ribbons came in yesterday, so I can finally start coordinating my DisneyBound outfits! I have a pink Monster's Inc shirt I picked up from the Disney Store, which I'll wear with purple pants and my Sulley bow so I can look a little like Boo. The other days are still in planning, lol!

We perform our senior play (Arsenic and Old Lace) at the end of this week while simultaneously auditioning for The Little Mermaid. This week could either be ridiculously slow or quick...hoping it's quick! :P

We have 6 days! Dh still hasn't packed. I feel like I have so much to get done and not a lot of time to do it in. Eek!

It's snowing and cold here today, so looking forward to some warm weather.
