is SW nonstop out of MHT? I might be tempted to apply for the SW credit card to get the points, but they don't fly nonstop out of Logan.

Officially booked for next April 1-7! I'll be staying at Bay Lake Tower...we were able to get a theme park view studio. SO EXCITED!!!!![]()
i checked out the JB and Delta credit card offers and they're horrible compared to SW. The amount of points you get for opening isn't enough for even 1 ticket. With SW's 50,000 I could get the 4 of us one-way flights........... BUT, do I want to deal with traveling to MHT (hour away, how would we get there or home) to get a non-stop flight , or do I want to deal with just going to Boston but having to change planes (I loathe stopping, always fly non-stop). I'm not crazy about either of those options, lol.![]()

There's a hotel called the Highlander right next to the airport that offers fairly cheap and secure vacation parking, with a very nice shuttle to the terminals. We use them for every trip. It makes things much easier, lol.![]()
I think they leveled the Highlander Inn, The airport purchased the property late 2011. I was going to park there myself for our April 13 trip -![]()
This is true, it was taken down in 2011.![]()
So I decided to tell my girls we are going back to Disney by setting up all our scrapbooking supplies, with their scrapbooks we purchased for our 2011 trip. (yes I know bad mommy taking so long to do scrapbooks)
I had all the supplies out, and they walked in from school all excited that they were going to get to do Disney scrapbooks! They thought that was the big treat for the day!
We started going through our photos and of course laughing over stories about experiences like bouncing with Tigger, saying "Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine..." with the seagulls outside Living Seas with Nemo and Friends, and my teen son sleeping with his new puppet... I asked the girls if they wanted to go back to Disney, of course they said yes.... I quietly opened my computer, showed them our Reservation on Disney Travel online - and they both started jumping up and down screaming!
It was awesome! Hubby recorded it for posterity!
I am in full planning and scrapbooking mode now! lol
How did you tell your fam?

This time, my brother is 11, so I guess she decided to just tell him one day. I was at St. Paul's (an advances studies program) over the summer, and on one of the days she visited we had the conversation...it kind of went like
"Oh, by the way, we're going to Disney."
"Oh, cool."
I didn't really freak out until later xD Staying at AoA is going to be the real treat, because I don't have to share a bed or a bathroom with my brother. We're past that age. I'm excited about possibly going to a morning EMH by myself if my family doesn't feel like waking up!![]()
Sharing the way my parents told us once... I was 13, my brother was 3. We were packed to go skiing, leaving in 2 days, my brother came down with something. Mom takes him to the doctor, puts him on antibiotics, tells us we can go on vacation but not to somewhere cold.
Mom comes home with the sick brother and says, that's it were going to Disney.
She runs to the attic, grabs all our summer clothes, throws them in the wash, gets us repacked, Dad packs up the car and off we go to Disney from NYC.
We had no hotel reservations, but mom manages to get us a room during winter break at the Contemporary. She called every morning to extend our stay, night by night. We only had to move once, on our last night, to the Poly. We loved that trip and still talk about it. Here we are 25 years later, going back together for Easter!
I am so glad that Our girls love Disney as much as DH and I. I allow them to help plan and they love that!!![]()
