Just a folder? I have an entire dresser drawer devoted to Disney stuff. :rotfl:

I didn't say everything stays in the folder... :rotfl2:

229 days until Disney!!!!!:hyper:

It has been 38 days since we were there....

I most definitely have a problem!!!! ::yes:: I'm just glad the DH agrees that the 11 day trip we had last month was the perfect length....and that we'll get another 11 day trip in April.

I should just go live there...and I'm contemplating an October trip again...those darn AP's!!!!

This will be our shortest Disney stay at 8 nights. It makes me a little sad but with a 7 night cruise after I guess I have no room to complain.

Poly is my DH's dream resort. I would love to take him there someday, but it would require a serious discount. It's kind of funny because he has become kind of tight fisted with money, but he wants to stay at Poly. Of course he doesn't want to pay for it.

Since we are staying at a One-Bedroom at Bonnet Creek for $78.50/night with a King size bed, kitchen, laundry machines, and garden size tub, I may not ever be able to coax him back to a Disney owned resort. :sad2:

I just can't seem to get as motivated planning the cruise as I used to get about Disney. I have joined Cruise Critic, but just don't have the same desire to be my normal over-planning self.

Wow! I had no idea you could get Bonnett Creek for that price. How did you do it?

April 12th starts the value season at Bonnet Creek. I moved our arrival to the 12th and saved about $100 for the same number of nights. We booked through Vacation Strategy. The quote is for $638 including taxes and fees. Coronado Springs room only for same dates is over $1800 and AoA over $1200. We thought we would check it before we had another family trip.

CBR is my number one favorite Disney resort. I love it there. It may move to number two spot after I stay at AoA. Lol

I wrestled back and forth with the AoA and CBR, but we have stayed at CBR before and honestly I just love it there... maybe next time I will try AoA!

Just so you know...there is a big cheerleading competition going on during your dates. CBR is the mod resort that has been assigned for this competition, with the All Star Resorts being the value. There will most likely be lots of cheerleaders at that resort.

Not that I really mind cheerleaders, because my daughters have done competition cheer before (we moved to gymnastics instead last year) but I hope it's not overly crowded - like my hubby said at least it's outside entryways they can't run up and down inside halls like they have in past competition hotels.

I may have to rethink this....

Is it Worlds?

I'm just going to throw in our CBR experience with cheerleaders....and maybe this is part of the reason we don't like CBR. But, the cheerleaders would be out in the parking lots rehearsing their routines until LATE hours of the night. We were soooo annoyed that no one made them be quiet!

And then, on mornings when they would go to the parks, if you found 2 cheerleaders in line for a bus, forget it! By the time the bus came, there would be 20 and they would cut you because the first two were "saving their place" and they had to stay together.

I've got a quote request in with them now. Thanks for the info.

Now, does that mean I should change your date on the first page to the 12th or are you still arriving on the 11th and staying somewhere else?

I can't help it but I am SO wishing my life away!!!!!! April 2013 can't come quick enough. I actually got abit angry earlier whilst thinking about how far away it is!!!!! Please tell me im not the only one?!?!?

You are not the only one!!! Me and my DH were at a party last night and all we could talk about with our DBFF's was our upcoming trip!! This will be our DBFF first trip so they are more excited then us! 235 days until our trip!!!

232 days for us - we're there the same week :-)

I hope your quote is as good as mine:)

Yes please. I was holding off officially changing it in case I changed my mind, but the trip was just getting to long. So, I guess we will be arriving the 12th:blush:.

I feel the same. It's very frustrating. But experience tells me that no matter how many days you are counting down eventually you make it to double, and the single digits. And then I start with the "There isn't enough time." I am a little better this time. But I haven't been able to make myself change my tickers because they have actually moved! If I change them they go all the way back to the beginning:sad:

We are regular "first week in April" visitors, because I teach. This year we are going over NYE b/c my children and I do not have to return to school until Jan. 8. Because of that, we have been holding out for committing to a resort for our April trip. We are still debating where to stay b/c we may love WBC so much in January that the kids want to return...or we may wish to keep our pattern of trying something new. Today, I finally buckled down and booked AoA LM, just so that we have something booked (and because I feel myself being pulled back onsite since we will be offsite for Jan.)....

But, I feel myself falling prey to being a resort changer for this trip....We shall see! I love planning for WDW trips and if I find a better deal or perhaps decide to rent DVC for part of the week.... But, we have a room in a resort that DD 9 and DS 6 will love, so it is a good place to start.

So, for now, put me down for traveling March 29-April 6, 2013 and staying at AoA in a Little Mermaid Room!

I have an app on my phone counting down for me

I know, I don't like looking at the number of days, it seems way too far off! I was excited at one point when I noticed my month countdown had hit 9, I thought, hey, we're in the single digits now! And then I realized, I could still get pregnant and have a baby in that time. And then I was depressed b/c that's a LONG time, lol!

Seriously, though, after the trip I always wish I still had it to look forward to, so I'm trying to enjoy the anticipation a little more this time.

Ugh, I don't know what to do. We're 90% certain the family is going to WDW together, arriving on 3/31. I just checked and Southwest released their fares through the dates of our trip. From PHL to MCO on 3/31 it's only $129 each for me and DH.

I guess we could book and if we don't go, we have 12 months to use the credit to book and travel. I just can't decide what to do, what a conundrum.

Made some changes to our reservation, it now stands as follows:
4/18/13-4/23/13 Yacht Club!!!!
and then
4/23/13-4/28/13 Polynesian Club Level!!!! :yay:

I really do feel that this is the best of both worlds (to quote Hannah Montana, lol)...so feel free to change my info on page one... :goodvibes
