I managed to finally get through after 3 hours and 45 minutes. Only to find out there was a glitch with the computer system so our room wasn't discounted as much as I had found online. :( we would've had an almost 900.00 savings and now have a 600.00 savings. But what doesn't make sense is that another one of our rooms has one less child than my room and they had a MUCH greater saving. I am confused. I shouldve just booked online and cancelled the other reservation. oh well I guess. I'm happy we are saving anything, but would've loved a couple hundred more. :cool1:

Id pull them up online again and if different (less) than they gave u over the phone, call them back. Maybe wait a few days to call tho, lol

yeah, that's what I am thinking. The other room in our group that was a giant savings, I think they missed something. I can not replicate the number they gave me. :confused3 so I need to call and make sure that reservation is all set and not missing anything. I'll ask them to check mine again too.

Someone here had a nemo suite that wasn't. Avail. For discount. I have a client the same week with the same issue. I checked last nite and it came up available. Got 600 off

So excited that my family and I are going to WDW in April! We have 4 kids and have never been before. I haven't been in 20 years so a lot has changed! Can't wait to learn all that I can!:woohoo:

so happy now I can focus on the fun part of planning....:woohoo:must refrain from changing my ADR's! But I am rethinking my Ohana ADR for our first night....hmmm. after check in at POR we are eating a CS lunch in the food court and heading to MK. I had BOG and cancelled it and booked Ohana. Now I am thinking we won't want to leave MK for dinner and maybe should stay in the park. Crystal Palace or LTT????

Happy to have you join us. Our very first trip was in 2007 and I joined the DIS about six months before that. Everything I knew about WDW I learned on the DIS. (My dh got tired of hearing me say, "On the DIS someone said . . ." :rotfl2: )

what time is ohana for? i wouldnt mind leaving the park for a late dinner, like 8:00, then back to the hotel after. but i wouldnt want to leave for like 5-6:00 ressies.

i still have no plans for day 1. ive tossed around o' hana, chef mickeys, just Mk, a combo.........IDK if i could even get CM or OH now.....i should look into that

Your 'Ohana reservation is at 5:00. What about making it later and then watching Wishes from the Poly Beach? (That's a plan in the back of my head for the last two trips, didn't happen. Maybe this time. The NYE fireworks video from Poly Beach was amazing.)

great idea in theory...but I know it won't work for us:sad2: after traveling and hitting the MK for a bit to soak in the atmosphere I know we will be ready for bed after our early dinner. DS 12 is not too keen on Fireworks on a good day, so we save them for 1x in the trip on a day where we have plenty of rest. Just looking to minimize the rushing around once we finally get there.

yeah its for 5:00. We eat early! Things so very bad fast if we wait too long to eat;)

oh, i agree. my suggestion would never work for us as we' d all be asleep in our dinner plates, lol. i know some people can do it though. i know we need tobe in bed early that first night so we' ll either hit MK for a few hours with a QS supper there or AoA OR an early meal at CM or OH and then back to AoA to bed.......i' m thinking the 2nd option because if we go to MK we' ll probably end up staying later than planned.

We will be to bed early for sure! The whole going to mk is just to enjoy wandering around. If we ride something great. Then it's early dinner and bed! Just don't know if we would be ready to head to the poly at 4:30, or just stay put to eat in mk . Going to ask ds 12 in a second. Ds 14 is at a birthday party so ill let the young one pick! I'll let everyone know what he thinks!

We finally booked! We are staying at the art of animation in the nemo family suite! Yesterday during the day when I checked online under te spring sale nemo was not available but last night it was!! So happy my kids in I wanted nemo over cars but hubby could care less. This will be our first time at a value we have always stayed deluxe before.

85 days to go and we still haven't booked airfare. Should probably get on that this week!
