Our magical express tags came in today's mail!!!!!!:goodvibes

YAY Pixe dust!!!!! Only 38 Days left to my first trip

Sorry it took me so long to answer- just got home last night from my DS10's hockey tournament.
There isn't a package for Illuminations. I just requested to sit on the patio when we checked in.
I am very EXCITED!! The feeling just never gets old.

Hi there - see your in NH and have a hockey player, are you having a good season?? I'm from Maine and have one too! our season just ended for HS on Saturday but on Wed last week my DS got checked (a clean one) into the boards just right and broke his collarbone and seperated his AC joint (in his left shoulder) so he is now in a sling for 3 weeks then out of sports a total of 6-8 weeks .. he is very :sad1: about that as Lacrosse will be starting soon.

Updated the first post again - if I screwed anything up or missed you, please let me know!

Tonight I'm going to do a nice one-page info sheet for the parents of the girl we're bringing with us, with everyone's cell numbers, the resort phone number/address, flight information, etc. That way they'll have everything at a glance.

I also need to start making packing lists.

And where's my Mickey Mail?! ;)

Do you get Mickey Mail if all you have is a room-only reservation?

OK, So I've had absolutely THE worst possible 24 hours imaniganeable :sad1: DS and DBIL are TRYING to drag me in between them in their AWEFUL HORRIBLE TERRIBLE NASTY NASTY NASTY seperation problems and i'm completely stressed b/c of it. (They tried this a month ago too). I've finally had enough and asked them to respect that I can NOT be a part of it. I want to be there for them but CANNOT discuss what's going on and let them bash each other in front of me. (I really don't take stress well). So, now to get my mind off it I decided to do something fun and I....

MADE NEW DISNEY TICKERS!!! LOL:laughing: Do you like them???? My last one was off by a day b/c we added a day and I wanted to add one for the EE 5K so I feel a little better havng done this. and now DH is going to leave work early to take me out for a relaxing lunch so hopefully they will respect my wishes and I can be free of the stress!!!! of course I still know what's going on but they need to stop dragging me in the middle of it!!!

The tickers are great!! I really love the EE 5k one. I started reading your TR about prepping for your run. It's inspiring, I almost want to attempt becoming a runner....but I HATE running. LOL.

I'm actually from MA. I have 2 hockey boys (well 3 if you include DH). Our season went great this year. DS14 played JV H.S. and for his bantam team (still doing that). DS10 is a squirt. He was in a tournament over the weekend and won his div. He also scored his first goal of the season. He usually plays defense and they put him in center for the first 2 games of the tournament. I was a little nervous at first until he scored :yay:
Too bad about your DS. Hopefully he'll be better for LAX. We're putting DS14 in a checking clinic over the summer- that stuff makes me so nervous.

We're staying offsite for the first time, so I'm a little nervous, but still VERY EXCITED to get there! Tentative plans:

4/20--MK, 12:30 lunch @ Crystal Palace
4/21--AK in morning thru early afternoon, dinner at T-Rex 6:30pm
4/22--EP
4/23--HS, 12:15 lunch @ Hollywood & Vine, possibly EP in evening?
4/24--MK until 12:30 when we leave for airport

We've never done HS with the kids--my oldest doesn't like fast rides so we've never thought there's enough to warrant a visit, but we're thinking we'd like to try it out this time to see Toy Story and also visit with Phineas and Ferb. If we're not doing R&RC or TT or Great Movie Ride (I think my kids would be scared by this), is there enough for us to do? Should I plan on half a day there or longer?? Planning on getting there at RD to do the Toy Story FP run...worth it to get the FP and wait in standby so you can do it twice??

Rest of plans look OK? We're staying about 5 min from the parks so we are planning on coming back to hotel in afternoons for pool time--I think this is one of my kids fav part anyway! Anything I'm missing??

Thanks!! :thumbsup2

Too be totally honest with you - i HATE running too :lmao: I need some SERIOUS motivation to get me to do things and this 5K run in Disney was just the ticket :) I had tried before and SOOOO hated EVERY second of it!!! It's funny how it all seemed worth it once I found this run to train for!
So glad you popped over to read it!! I hope you left a post for me :) I see it gets SOOO many hits but not alot of posts from others.

I think there is lots for those that don't like thrill rides at HS so you guys will for sure enjoy it. Not knowing the ages of your kids there is also the art of animation where they can learn to draw a disny character if you have any budding artists, the stunt show(Lights Motors Action) is really cool to watch, Star Tours, Honey I shrunk the kids playground (depending on age), Studio Backlot tour, Muppetvision 3D show, plus the parade and other shows such as Beauty and the Beast and Fantasmic at night. Oh - can't forget the characters to meet too!
I'm glad your giving it a try - it's a great park.

Definately worth riding twice. This is one of my favorite rides. At first I thought it was gonna be exactly like Buzz, but it's way better!!:thumbsup2
My boys love Star Tours. And the Lights, Motors, Action show is pretty good too. I even got my boys to see Beauty and the Beast. That show is great. If you can only see one show see B&B!! It is awesome. Oh I almost forgot Indiana Jones show too, but your kids may be too little and think it's boring.
You may be able to do a half day.

I like to wait until I'm caught up to the present before I post any comments!! I'm a slow reader/lurker!! :thumbsup2

I would also add that even if you're NOT a budding artist that the learn to draw thing is fun. I am awful, but I keep going back. I like to see the tricks they show you to make it "easier" to draw the characters is pretty neat.

For those of you interested in the Flower and Garden festivities at Epcot, Disney has launched a mobile website at http://m.epcotinbloom.com/

Also, you probably heard about the Disney Mobile Magic app finally being released for the iPhone last week.....cant wait to start using this especially for the Fastpass return times!

I am so excited that we will be going during the Flower and Garden Festival. I will be spending a lot of time taking photos I think. I wish this trip could be longer!

No Mickey mail yet. Sigh.

Paid off the trip today!!! I guess the lines were backed up from being down yesterday ~ I was on hold forever!!

About the running ~ I REALLY want to run a half marathon, it's on the bucket list. However, I too, hate running!! We are not going to Disney next year, and I'm seriously considering doing the princess half just to get my disney fix...I think that would motivate me enough to train:lmao:

no mickey mail here either and we are 42 days out! I think I might start getting out the suitcases. Its either that or I keep messing with our ADR's and I need to stop that.

I just added my ME reservations today, so hopefully I will have mail soon!!

I agree - I am very excited to see Epcot in all of it's floral glory! What a wonderful bonus for our trip. :)
