It seems October is just about peak season at Universal. HHN is a huge draw for them.

I just need to whine for a moment to someone who will understand - I'm not so patiently waiting for the APH rates for January to drop. I'm running at Disney for Marathon Weekend, but always stay at Cabana Bay for race weekends. I want to get my hotel booked so that I can get my flights booked. It's currently cheaper to fly home on Tuesday (plus I get one extra day to play in the parks!), but I don't want that savings to get eaten plus some by up hotel costs.

So if anyone at Universal is listening, pleeeeeease release the January dates soon!!!

In the past May has been higher. The AP rate is usually 60% of the rack rate.

As usual, some really good rates for Sunday to Thursday nights on non holiday weeks.

But wow, still crazy prices for MLK weekend, even Sunday night.

The new Stella Nova resort has AP rates available starting on their opening date of 1/21/25. Looks like it is priced the same as Cabana Bay / Aventura (for standard rooms).

I was thinking about staying for my first night before I switch to HRH on 1/27. I won't arrive until after midnight and will be leaving fairly early in the morning so I'm wondering if it's worth $30 more than Endless Summer-Surfside??

It would be cool to see it since it will be brand new, but it's also a little bit farther away...

Yeah, that was my dilemma too. Well, more convenience. Looking at a quick weekend 1/25 before our APs expire. Grabbed a "cheap" night at RP and thought about Stella Nova for arrival night... but then it's much more effort to swap to RP the next morning vs just staying at Aventura for arrival night & walking over. Still thinking about it. The newness calls to me...

Still on the hunt for APH rates for my dates (January 18-20, MLK weekend, so I knew it was a longshot but that's the only time we can go), which haven't been offered yet and might not be, ever. We booked a placeholder reservation, but if we can't get a discount before the drop-dead date for penalty-free cancellations, we'll scrap the trip and try again in a few months.

UPDATE: Patiently checking a few times a day paid off! Around 11am on November 14, AP rates were finally added for MLK weekend in January, and I was able to shave a few hundred dollars off of our 2-night stay. Huzzah!

I just checked and don't see them. I need three nights in mid-May (yes, before Epic opens, dang it!!). Can you share the website that you are using?
