I was hoping tonight would be the best. I love musicals. However to sum it up in one word

Scott...Goodness, that was terrible!

Constantine...one of his better performances

Carrie....BORIONG!!! ZZZZZZ

Anthony...BORING!!!

Nikko...This was the first time I actually noticed Nikko. He did well

Vonzell...Fantastic! .

Anwar...Better than last week, stronger vocally in the beginning. Did you all notice the ascot?

Bo...Not very good.

Nadia....looked good, sounded well.

I predict that Scott, Anthony and possibly Carrie with the bottom three.
Scott will go home.

I'm still hoping Anthony is the next one to go home, although I don't think he did too badly tonight. He and Anwar always sound the same. Other than those two, I think everyone did pretty good, given the material (which according to DBF, shouldn't have been the theme because it doesn't appeal to the "target audience").

Some of the songs I wasn't familiar with, but I thought Constantine did well (of course) and so did Nadia. They'd be my top 2 for the night, followed by Nikko and Scott.

Scott- Oh geez, that was terrible. Boring, off key, just not good.
Paula's on drugs
Constantine- Really good but I can't watch him sing because he makes those "eyes".
Carrie- Tonight seemed very "Miss America" to me. Zzzzzzzzz
I really hate Paula
Vonzell- Oh man I really, really hate this song. But I like Vonzell a lot.
Paula shut up
Anthony- I don't understand that arrangement at all, it was so strange and not in a good way. I felt bad for him, he seems like such a nice kid.
Nikko- First part sounded off but the 2nd half was much better.
Anwar- Anwars back! Very good. Although he borrowed Constantine's "eyes" during the first part of the song. lmao.
Bo- That was really cheezy.
I just didn't hear what Paula & Randy heard, totally agree with Simon
Nadia- Wow, she surprised me! I thought she was pretty good.

Best- Constantine & Anwar.
Should go-Scott or Anthony

Well, tonight was pretty disappointing for me. I like musicals, don't get me wrong, but I was sooo bored with AI tonight. They all chose such boring songs that I just couldn't get into. I am not even sure who I thought did the best or the worst. It was just that bad to me. I know it probably wasn't the easiest theme to pick for so I can't fault them but wow! I hope AI never chooses the theme of musicals again. I don't know who will be going home based on tonight's performances. Don't know if Scott will be going home or not but I figure he will be in the bottom 3 just b/c of his past. Guess we'll see!

My DH saw that and said "Well that confirms it!".

Although my 10 year old son said it looked cool-- he looked like Fred in Scooby Doo!

I secretly look forward to your commentary each week almost as much as I do watching the show.

I agree with your best and worst, too. And God knows I hate Paula.

Love Nadia too. I've never been disappointed in any of her performances, even when the judges don't like her, I do.

My picks from best to worst tonight: Anwar, Constantine, Nadia, Vonzell, Nikko, Bo, Carrie, Anthony, Scott. Overall, I think Anwar is by far the most talented vocally, but he doesn't have the stage presence that Bo or Nadia have. Honestly, though, I'm very impressed with this entire group and wouldn't be upset if any of them were the next American Idol. I think ALL of them are better than last year's top two.

Scott was horrible again tonight. Not a surprise, as he has a terrible voice. He should be going tomorrow, but either him or Anthony going would be fine with me.

I thought Constantine did awesome today. He should have as this is his background.

Anwar came back big this week. What a great performance.

Do you think they were able to choose from ANY musical? There are so many powerful songs in musicals - why didn't they choose better songs? I love a lot of the songs in Cats and Les Miserables.

I was surprised that Bo didn't choose something from The Who's musical -Tommy A Pinball Wizard (something like that).

And Anthony - what were you thinking? I love The Sound of Music, but I am not a fan of that song. The lyrics are nice, but it's really not a great song.

I thought they all seemed a little stiff tonight. It would have been fun to see them really get into a song - as if they were in a musical. I LOVE Carrie's voice, but can you really imagine going to see her in concert if she is just standing there singing?...boring.

Am I the only one who still likes Paula? Sure she's a little excitable but she's just showing her passion for the competition and the contestants. I don't mind her at all - I think she's a great complement to Simon.
