When do MVMCP Tickets go on sale?
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will become available on July 16 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. For all other guests, tickets will be available starting July 22.

Please note that MVMCP is a "hard-ticket" event. A "hard-ticket" event means you must buy a separate ticket for admission to the party, you cannot use a day of your regular Magic Your Way ticket to attend MVMCP.​

How much do tickets cost?
Ticket prices vary depending on the date of the party. Ticket prices for 2024 will range from $169-$229 per person.


Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club Discounts
Special prices are available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members. Save $10 on select nights, Nov 7–21 and Nov 30–Dec 4, 2025.

*Tickets are non‐refundable and non‐ transferrable and sold on a first‐come, first‐serve basis. We will process your request in the order they are received. Please order through Walt Disney World’s website if you feel your date may sell out. A military discount is not available through Walt Disney World.

*Active and Retired U.S. Military, including members of the U.S. Coast Guard and participating members of the National Guard and Reserve, may purchase discounted Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets for special military priced event nights.

If you are ordering tickets during this time, please write your resort confirmation number on your order form and send a screen shot of your confirmation. The general public sale starts July 10, 2024. Please note that the number of Tickets available is limited. Events may sell out. In addition, all Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are only valid for admission during the special event date and hours.

Where can I buy the tickets? When should I buy tickets?
To purchase tickets, visit DisneyWorld.com/VeryMerry or call 407-934-7639. Once you purchase tickets, they will be linked to yourMy Disney Experience account.

Definitely purchase in advance of the party, especially if you plan to attend one of the last parties, or if there is a specific day you prefer to go.

What time does MVMCP start? What time can I enter the park?
MVMCP officially starts at 7pm. Guests may enter Magic Kingdom using their party tickets starting at 4pm. This practice is not officially advertised by Disney, but it has been exercised for many years and Cast Members will readily confirm this information. None of the party-specific M&Gs or treats will begin until 7pm, with a few M&G exceptions.

Do I need a wristband? What if I want to stay without one?
Yes, a wristband is included in the cost of admission. All ticket holders for this event will be required to wear a wristband. You may pick-up your wristband and map of the party at designated locations in the MK.

Once the party begins at 7pm, Cast Members begin looking for those who do not have wristbands to exit the park.

MVMCP Ticket Holders have purchased tickets with "their money" for the party; if you do not have a ticket/wristband make your way to exit the gates by 7pm.

Oh, my! I'm already in the park. Do I have to exit and re-enter for MVMCP? No, there are checkpoints within the park to check-in and receive wristbands for MVMCP!

Wristbands are now ribbon. They have the event logo and a slider to adjust it to your wrist size. The wristbands cannot be loosened once it’s been tightened to help prevent wristband sharing.

Do you have a map of the party?
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Map gives you an idea of special foods available, as well as show times for the major entertainment.

• Holiday overlays - noted with “Holiday Twist!”
• Parade route - the map also shows the parade route with a white dotted line
• Treat locations - marked with a candy cane-striped rectangle.
• Character greetings - marked with Santa Mickey heads.
• Green camera means PhotoPass locations
• Red frame is step-in photo frames

Upon entering, beginning at 4 p.m., party guests have a VIP entrance through the backside of Main Street behind Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. Here you’ll be welcomed with festive tunes from a live DJ, special character appearances, including a few jolly gingerbread men you’ll spot again in the parade and fun photo ops to kick off your visit. You’ll also receive a complimentary ornament and a peppermint chocolate marshmallow treat to sweeten the start of your night.



What Complimentary Holiday Treats are offered?
Locations are indicated on the map. Keep an eye out for gigantic, inflatable peppermint sticks to signify a treat location. There is no limit to how many times you can go back to the same location for more. Several holiday treat locations will be open until midnight during MVMCP.

Cookies and Cocoa
Satisfy your sweet tooth with holiday treats offered throughout the park. Cookies and cocoa are available to Guests at designated locations for no additional charge. There's apple cider at some locations.

How long are the Character Meet & Greet lines?
It depends. There are a few of the popular characters that will have lines that begin long before the party starts. If you want to see the 7 Dwarfs you will want to line up around 5:00pm. The other M&G wait times will range from 30-45 minutes.

Are the attractions open during MVMCP?
Yes, and the lines for most attractions (except Seven Dwarfs Mine Train) will have much shorter wait times than a regular park day.

Space Mountain - Holiday Run!! launches you on an adventure through the cosmos, filled with interstellar lighting and high-energy holiday tunes.

In Tomorrowland, you can cruise a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights, stylized décor and a fun, futuristic holiday soundtrack as you get behind the wheel on the "Tomorrowland Speedway Race Through the Holidays.”

Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland becomes a wild and wacky Christmas party––where you can spin your teacup to one of 4 holiday combos of lights and music.

The crew at Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is filling their laugh canisters with some holiday cheer at their “Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Holiday Show” for everyone visiting the Monster World during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Get ready to laugh on a Jingle Cruise packed with holiday-themed puns. Jingle Cruise can be enjoyed during the party or all day long at Magic Kingdom park.​

Are Lightning Lane Multi Pass Reservations available during the party?
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is not available during party hours (7pm to 12am). Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single are only available for guests that have park reservations for the Magic Kingdom or park hopper ticket option on a MVMCP date.

2025: Reports indicated that you were able to purchase LLMP & LLSP with a party ticket to use from 4pm-6pm.

Should I attend?
Is MVMCP worth it? IMO it is most definitely worth the price at least once. I thoroughly enjoyed MVMCP, and we plan to attend 2 parties this year (fingers crossed for dates). It’s definitely worth it if your budget allows.

There’s plenty of special entertainment, special decorations and lighting, and lots of unique character meet and greets.

If you decide to attend MVMCP, make sure to purchase your tickets in advance, and use any available discounts (i.e. DVC, AP, etc,). Tickets are more expensive on the day of the party, and several nights each year sell out completely.

Party Crowds
MVMCP is a special ticket event with a limited amount of tickets sold. It has been discussed that more tickets are being sold as of late. However, due to Party Entertainment, crowds tend to be more concentrated around the events, especially the parade and fireworks.

Are there any Dining Options?
Dining is available at select counter service and snack locations throughout the park, but is very limited once the party begins. It’s probably wise to eat your main evening meal prior to attending the party.

Snow on Main Street, U.S.A.
This isn’t “real” snow, it is actually imitation snow. There is a “snowfall” on Main Street (Between Casey's Corner & the Emporium) before the parades and then at the end of the evening. There is also snow on Main Street after the fireworks. It can snow intermittently on Main Street, but there is not snow during A Frozen Holiday Wish or the Fireworks. There is also snow in Tomorrowland immediately following A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show.

What are the times for Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade?
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade runs at 8:30pm and 11:00pm.

It has been discussed that the second parade is less crowded than the first. There are advantages and disadvantages to both depending on your party size/age and party plans.

FYI: The parade route begins in Frontierland, follows the waterway until it reaches Liberty Square, crosses the Liberty Square bridge, circles Central Plaza in front of Cinderella's Castle, then heads down Main Street, U.S.A., where it ends next to Harmony Barbershop.

What time is Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks?
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks shows at 10:00pm.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks is Exclusive to MVMCP, but will run from December 23-29 at 10pm.

Frozen Holiday Surprise
New for 2023, join Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf as they help to decorate Cinderella Castle. This show is 7 minutes and will be shown twice nightly.
Times: 6:15pm (all guests) & 8:15pm (MVMCP guests only)

Transportation
The Walt Disney World Transportation, including the boat launches, bus and monorail stations, all continue to run during and after Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Disney Springs: One-way bus service from the 4 Disney theme parks operates daily from 4:00 PM until 11:00 PM or 2 hours after theme parks close, whichever is earlier.

The actual SPECIAL EVENT (MVMCP) does end on the selected date, however, they still have the Christmas Parade for FREE in the Magic Kingdom after the last scheduled MVMCP for you to enjoy in case you cannot attend MVMCP! You should try your best to attend though!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Steps off in Frontierland. The legendary street comes alive with yuletide spirit on select nights. Snap memorable photos of dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers and beloved Disney Characters as they float by, waving hello. There’s even a special appearance by Santa Claus–riding in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.There is a “snowfall” on Main Street before the parades and then at the end of the evening.

Kringle Krew Pre-Parade (Center Street): A street act combining hip-hop elements with traditional Christmas entertainment for a pre-parade party.
Time: 8:30pm & 11:00pm

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
Get in the Christmas spirit as your host—Minnie Mouse—invites you to take in a sparkling, yuletide fireworks display. Watch as the sky becomes alight with festive colors to the tune of some of your favorite carols like Deck the Halls and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

This merry display can be thoroughly enjoyed from most locations throughout Magic Kingdom park—including Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

Dining During MVMCP​

Can I make ADRs in the Magic Kingdom WITHOUT a party ticket?
Yes, you can make your reservations up until 6:00pm. Please note you will be asked to leave the property as soon as your dining experience is complete. If you have not purchased a MVMCP ticket, you can purchase a same day ticket IF the party has not sold out.

Should I eat in a Disney Restaurant while the party is going on? Will I miss something?
This is subjective, and you will see conflicting opinions posted on various threads. Remember - you can enter the park at 4pm if you have purchased a MVMCP ticket. Most agree that you should eat either before, or during the 4-7pm time periods so you DO NOT waste time/miss the Christmas Festivities.

Starting September 3, 2025, Disney Resort hotel Guests can make reservations—for dates up to 60 days in advance of their arrival, for the entire length of stay (up to a 10-night stay). All other Guests can book starting September 8, 2025.

At Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, 3 table-service restaurants in Magic Kingdom park will be open.

A Dashing Dining Experience
‘Tis the season to spread holiday cheer! On select nights November 7 through December 21, 2025, Magic Kingdom park is hosting Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, an annual celebration of all things fa-la-la-la-fabulous. Elves of all ages are welcome, but a valid party ticket is the only way to enter the park and join the flurry of festivities!

Exploring this winter wonderland is sure to inspire Santa-sized appetites—so why not unwrap a little mealtime magic of your own? During Mickey’s specially ticketed shindig, partygoers can relax over phenomenal food and a heaping helping of fantasy at one of 3 popular table-service restaurants. Now round up the reindeer… it’s time for some divine yuletide dining experiences at Cinderella’s Royal Table, Be Our Guest Restaurant or The Plaza Restaurant. Plus, savor snacks and refreshments at The Beak and Barrel.

Storybook Circus, starting Thanksgiving Day
During MVMCP keep an eye out for Santa as he waves from his sleigh during Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, bringing that picture-perfect Disney magic to Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle.  Santa will also have his own dedicated spot to meet families hoping to cross things off their wish lists!

This parade will be available to all guests during the week of Christmas. It is also performed twice nightly at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

EPCOT is getting ready to put the festive in festival when EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth begins November 28.  Around World Showcase, guests can discover international holiday storytellers like Père Noël in France and Barn Santa in Norway — celebrating the fantastic holiday traditions from across the globe. Stop by once the festival begins to see an incredible Spaceship Earth gingerbread display and a chance to meet Santa in a wintry setting.  Looking for even more holiday cheer? Swing by The Odyssey, where Santa Goofy is ready to strike a pose with your family.

Restaurantosaurus, from November 14 to December 24
Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrates the holidays with unique, globally inspired decor, including the charming Merry Menagerie of life-sized animal puppets on Discovery Island and the dazzling holiday Tree of Life Awakenings projection show.

For holiday photos with a sense of humor, Restaurantosaurus in DinoLand U.S.A is the place for you. Dinosaur fans may notice stockings, statues, and ornaments belonging to some of their favorite paleontologists and decor honoring Cretaceous creatures – with a Christmas twist, of course.

Hollywood Studios

That’s right, the big man himself will surely stop by Walt Disney Presents decked out in its festive splendor. With all the new holiday flair in the building, cast members made sure to create a welcoming space for the guest of honor.

Magic Kingdom
Frozen Holiday Surprise - Starts November 7, 2025
Join our Frozen friends from Arendelle as they ring in the season. The celebration begins when Olaf and over 100 of his snowgie siblings add garlands, ornaments, wreaths and more to Cinderella Castle.

Next, Anna, Elsa and Kristoff will appear on stage with Olaf—all decked out in their holiday best. The festivities culminate as Elsa adds the finishing touches with her ice magic, transforming Cinderella Castle into a shimmering crystallized palace.

Jingle Cruise
Jingle Cruise, the holiday overlay edition of the Jungle Cruise, opens November 4 for the 2025 Christmas season at the Magic Kingdom. Debuting in 2013, the Jingle Cruise is back for another year, which sees holiday props, music and script changes added to the traditional Jungle Cruise attraction in Adventureland.

The Jingle Cruise holiday overlay of the popular Adventureland attraction Jungle Cruise will continue to operate through the holiday season.

The holiday scavenger hunt is once again returning in 2025!
Go on a festive quest throughout World Showcase hunting for holiday traditions that Olaf has gathered––and lost––along the way!

Guests wanting to join in can simply purchase a map for $11.99 from select locations (Creations Shop, Port of Entry and World Traveler at International Gateway) and then they will be able to hunt the World Showcase for holiday traditions that Olaf has misplaced. Using the stickers on your map, mark the “tradition” Olaf has found in each pavilion. Once you complete it, you’ll be able to snag a gift.

Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses (Boat Tour)
Enjoy a sparkling boat tour through Living with the Land in World Nature, where the greenhouses will be decked out with twinkling holiday light displays.

Winter Summerland is one of the two miniature golf course options available at Walt Disney World. The other mini-golf course available at Disney World is Fantasia Gardens.

Winter Summerland is located next to Blizzard Beach water park and contains two 18 hole courses. The theme of the land provides the backstory of how Santa Claus discovered the area on Christmas Eve as the perfect vacation spot for himself, Mrs. Claus, and the elves. The snow and ice from Blizzard Beach provided a wintery area that reminded Santa of home in the North Pole, while the sun and sandcastles on the other half of the course included the warm Florida getaway vacation option. Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade
The ABC Christmas Day Parade features musical acts filmed across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Aulani, and EPCOT. Filming took place on November 12 and 13 at Walt Disney World. As for Disneyland, filming typically takes place there in mid-November or early December as well.

Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade returns on December 25, 2025, airing on ABC at 10:00 a.m. EST and streaming starting at 11:00 a.m. EST on Disney+, Hulu, and the Disney YouTube channel through January 4, 2026.

The parade will feature celebrity musical performances and heartwarming stories from Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Star-studded performances from Gwen Stefani, Coco Jones, Iam Tongi, Lady A, Nicole Scherzinger, Mariah the Scientist, and Bebe Rexha from iconic Disney locations. Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Ginnifer Goodwin, with Maia Kealoha as parade correspondent, continuing a tradition that began in 1983.

Disney Jollywood Nights - Back for 2025
It’s a holiday vibe like you’ve never felt before. Sights of sparkling décor, sounds of modern beats over classic holiday songs, tastes of craft cocktails and decadent dishes. It’s nostalgic and it’s glitz and glam galore. Get ready to dress in your holiday glam best or festive flair, dance the night away to merry mashups, indulge in divine treats and bubbling spirits, and snap selfies with iconic characters during this new festive event. For an extra dose of cheer, the party wraps with the return of the nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” You’ll be in fa la la la la la la la land before you can say Tinseltown!

Gingerbread Displays at Walt Disney World
You’ll discover cheerful décor and jolly touches like our larger-than-life gingerbread displays at select Disney Resort hotel lobbies during the holiday season. If you want to see gingerbread brought to life by our talented pastry teams, simply follow the smell of gingerbread. You can see their mesmerizing (and delicious) work through January 1, 2026. ​

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
The Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa NOT Returning for Christmas 2025. That was the longest running display, celebrating its 25th Anniversary last year.



Disney’s Contemporary Resort
This is the 14th year the Contemporary Bakery team created the resort’s gingerbread display. For 2025, it is a Cinderella Castle Dream Lights-inspired Castle Display. It stands over 17 feet tall and 25 feet wide with 613 pounds of sugar, 1013 pounds of flour, 113 pounds of gingerbread spice, 51 pounds of chocolate, and over 4000 castle gingerbread bricks. The gingerbread display has 13 hidden Mickey’s and a 5-legged goat as a nod to the 5-legged goat Blair created on her 90-foot mural located in the Contemporary. See if you can find them all!

The Contemporary’s gingerbread display is located on the 4th floor. It’s open from mid-November through early January, usually from 10 am to 10 pm.



Disney’s Beach Club Resort
For 25 years, Disney’s Beach Club has been showcasing its special gingerbread display — a life-sized carousel that actually rotates. This year, the carousel is a 25th birthday celebration! You can find the gingerbread carousel in the lobby. There’s also a limited-edition pin, cookie jar, and holiday ornament available, too. There are also special goodies available for purchase. Merchandise signings with a pastry chef may be available, but dates and times vary.



Disney’s BoardWalk
Beginning November 20, you can enjoy BoardWalk’s gingerbread creation, which is located in the lobby. The display is a miniature version of some of the favorite spots found along the BoardWalk, including the BoardWalk Deli, which is home to none other than the BoardWalk Inn Bakery team. This year, there’s also a limited-edition pin, cookie jar, and holiday ornament available for purchase.



Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
In the Jambo House lobby starting November 24, the Animal Kingdom Lodge bakery continues the tradition with the Life-Size Baby Gingerbread Giraffe (Ginger) and Baby Zebra (Debra).
These are made with gingerbread, sugar dough, and modeling chocolate. Ginger the giraffe even stands near 7 feet tall! New this year, there is a limited-edition pin, cookie jar, and holiday ornament inspired by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge available for purchase. You’ll be able to purchase some gingerbread treats, like the Gingeraffe Cookie and specialty cocktails!



Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Back for 2025! Wilderness Lodge (a smaller chocolate based log cabin, not the life sized one of years ago). For guests taking a trip to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, nestled in the lobby, you’ll find a delicious selection of sweet treats.
Hours of Operation: Daily from 2:00-9:00 PM


Epcot
You’ll need a park ticket to see the gingerbread display featured during the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.

Back for for 2025, Disney’s Imagineering, EPCOT Festival, and EPCOT Pastry teams worked together to create a Gingerbread Spaceship Earth. Beginning November 28, this 8-foot-tall gingerbread display that will light up and dance to music throughout the day. The sphere itself is made up of almost a thousand handcrafted gingerbread triangles to mirror the iconic attraction. There are 240 pounds of honey dough, 100 eggs, 100 ounces lebkuchen spice, 55 pounds dark chocolate, and 100 pounds royal icing.

Try to find the 11 hidden Mickeys to represent the 11 countries of the World Showcase.


Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
This year’s glorious gingerbread display at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is truly grand. The house’s facade mimics the architectural design of the hotel, specifically giving a nod to the new Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast character dining experience new this year at Storytellers Cafe. You can even spot characters like Scrooge McDuck, and 25 Hidden Mickeys are nestled into the piece!


Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Park
This year’s gingerbread house inside the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction is an homage to the Raven, one of the mansion’s ghostly inhabitants who guides guests on their journey, but takes a holiday of his own when the residents of Halloween Town come to visit.

Joining in so I can get all the information as it is released. I'm planning to go for Thanksgiving week again and hoping for a party. I did not do the party right this year (completely my fault and the more I think about it as I'm writing my trip report, the more I regret the decisions I made.) I'm looking forward to a redo this year!

Eeeeek!! This makes me so happy just thinking about it! We'll be there December 9-15 or 17 and will definitely do a party...maybe even two! We will likely skip Jollywood Nights this year if it comes back since we have tried it the last two years and it wasn't for us. But bring on all the MVMCP news!!
