"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This may be a long shot question: anyone with DAS successfully used it on the Jack and Sally meet and greet? The DAS cast member I spoke to when applying said that Meet and Greets aren't in the app for DAS, but we may be able to get a return time by talking to the CMs outside the line. Can anyone confirm? TIA!
During MNNSHP, Jack & Sally as well as Mickey & Minnie were both available to request a return time via the app after 7pm--at least they were at the end of August.

We are going to MK during the morning of our party day for a little while, knock out Tron and Mine Train. Then back to hotel to relax/lounge about. We then don't plan to come back until 5 or even 6.

If we don't plan on waiting in line for Jack and Sally, is there anything we are missing by arriving later? We plan to (hopefully) watch the midnight show for Hocus Pocus since we are there on 10/30, will be fun to watch it as Halloween officially arrives! So we don't want to be there from 4 on as I may get tired. 😄

It was a GLORIOUS party night last night, Sept 14. My first time. Im here on a solo trip as DH didn't want to come and I had a ball. I did the dessert party for the guaranteed hub spot, and being able to sit till it started. The dessert party staff was fabulous, and there was a nice spread for those who like those little buffet dessert things. Am I the only person who thinks they all taste the same? Im on a GLP-1, down 40 since May 1. So I could inly eat a few cheese cubes, crackers, a rice krispie treat (over in the decorate a cookie section). It was easily the best dessert IMO, with some icing drizzled on it. I managed a quarter glass of wine and some chamomile tea. So the food was a no go for me, but the CMs, and the very organized transfer to the garden viewing area was well worth it, if only paying for one. I'd had a long travel day the day before and had to go back to the AKL to switch rooms, as the first one had issues. I came in at 7:30, strolled thru the Emporium and found a curb spot for the 8:15 parade. I loved it!! Have watched it so many times on YouTube. Then I went and checked in for the dessert party at 9. Was walked out to hub at 9:30. After fireworks strolled thru Fantasyland admiring the lighting overlay and rode jungle cruise. I was going to ride pirates (dressed vaguely as a tavern bench, WENCH, thank you autocorrect. But the Rusty Cutlass Pirate band had just started a set. OMG. They could anchor the finest ren Faire in the land. So I watched/sang/danced along to the whole set, with my 40 lbs lighter body. I went around Tortuga to see the headless horseman at entry, and then hustled down to the underpass and found a good spot for the second parade on some steps. Being solo is awesome. After the parade, I hustled back over , 20 minutes late for.my Beak and Barrel. It was fun, but I was trapped at an 8 top with 2 other parties in the back room. I wandered out to the front room and around, but next time will hold out for front room, even if I have to stand at the bar. I got the souvenir drink, which I thought was ghastly. Too sweet. Too artificial fruit. Too raw. But like the dessert party, I didn't order because I thought I could.currently drink that much. I tried the vegetarian corn griddle cake. There have been rave reviews from.some vloggers. Maybe end of the night but the cake was rubbery and gummy. We have one of the best arepas food trucks in the US in Lancaster PA, and this wasn't the same food item. The grilled corn inside was al dente and good. I think they were more relaxed about the time at the end of the night. Nobody was being hurried out. They settled bills and didn't ask if anyone wanted to order another. Much less of a zoo leaving about 12:30. It was a lovely quick party. Im back tomorrow night and will get there much earlier.

We do that often. I do like to book a ride or two from 5-6 if you have ILLs.

I went to the party last year and did not know about Powerline Max. We got an awesome spot to watch the parade sitting on the curb in the hub by the castle.

This year, I would like to get a spot to sit on the curb on Main Street for the 11:15 parade.

Do people usually clear out of Main Street after the fireworks? Or would you suggest trying to get a spot on Main Street before the fireworks (and how early would we have to be to get a seat on the curb??)?

They run as long as necessary to get everyone back to their resort. They won't leave you stranded, so take your time leaving!
Yeah, on one of my first trips, I was panically rushing to the bus area when a CM stepped in and said “take your time, it’s my job to make sure you make it back to your resort.” That was very reassuring!

Had quite a rainy party last night, but still had a good time. Storms started around 7:30, and didn't stop until around 10:30. I figured with the storms the park would have cleared out, but it stayed super busy throughout the night. I've never seen lines like I did last night at the party for trick or treating, but since no outdoor entertainment was happening and half the rides were closed, I'm not surprised.

First parade didn't happen, but they did send out one lone sad float sometime after 9 with a few characters. We had the dessert party last night, and were thankful we did since we could get out of the rain for a while! Fireworks were a few minutes late, but still happened and we're great as always.

Shortly after the fireworks ended they announced the late parade would be kicking off early due to the weather, it was about 10:30 at that point and the rain was just about over. Parade route was packed with people already at that announcement, but we found a spot behind some people sitting in Liberty Square. Parade passed out area around 10:45 and was slightly modified due to the wet ground.

Went trick or treating after and got a ton of candy. The characters were in some of the trick or treat lines which was a nice surprise!

Had a late night reservation at Beak and Barrel, so didn't start making it out of the park until 12:30, and we're surprised that the park had seriously emptied out, and they were still offering all the photo pass pictures on Main Street. So we got a bunch of pictures, then popped into the Emporium to pick up some party merch. Even more surprised they were still letting people in to meet characters at Town Square theater at 12:50!

So while we didn't get to do everything, we still had fun, and managed to sneak in a bunch of stuff we had missed as we were leaving so we're happy with that. Oh, and we got an alert around 9:30 that due to the storms we've received a one day park hopper ticket, but since we're APs that's not going to be useful, so will swing by Guest services today to see what other options there are.

Hello! I'm searching through posts and am not having luck figuring it out if it's possible to do the early parade (8:15), followed by first Hocus Pokus, fireworks and then 10:35 Beak and Barrel reservation. We have an early flight thatt morning and don't think we'll make it to midnight. Our CP will probably want to meet characters at the beginning. Our party is this Friday.

Thanks for the help!

The parade is typically 20-23 minutes and so is Hocus Pocus, both can vary a little since they are performances, fireworks are like 12-15 minutes.

Just wanted to share our party experience from Tue 9/16, it was our group's first (my 2nd). We intended to prioritize 1) Characters, 2) shows and magicshots 3) rides 4) trick or treating, and the rainstorm caused us to instead do mostly trick or treating. We got there later than our target 3:30, where costume makeup and such caused us to instead be on a bus at 4:30 and get there around 4:45 where all of us got stopped for security, maybe due to heightened security I'm not sure.

We got our party bands after scanning and headed to the right side of Main St. for our party bags. I was able to grab a 2nd bag for my 2 yr old - they said no at first. We started at Tiana because it was a 15 min posted, but it was a mistake because for the 2nd time this trip we got stuck on the ride for an extended period, and then evacuated. So we then went to Elvis Stitch line at 6:15 ish which was already long. We got photos with him at 7 then headed across to Monsters for trick or treating when it started to storm until maybe 9:30 ish, which scratched our plans for frontierland cadaver dans, headless horseman, and 1st parade from Frontierland all in a row. We instead stayed inside Monsters and some of us repeat trick or treated for a couple of hrs! CMs there told us to continue trick or treating as much as we wanted.

Watched the 2nd parade from Main St., but didn't stake out early so we were hugging the center garden areas but we could still see it.

The 10pm fireworks went on but we were in Fantasyland at the time, trick or treating some more after Teacups. I also went solo on Space Mt. pitch black which was awesome. We wanted to ride Tron at night but wait times were still 30-40 most of the time. We caught some of it from there. We did Mansion and the magic shots at the end near the graveyard. We had intentions of doing last ride and then the midnight Hocus Pocus like a lot of us here, but the midnight show stopped after 5 minutes for technical delays. Given the last show and the park was closed, everyone left.

So as a result, we ended up with tons of candy. While I always made fun of people paying several hundreds for a party to trick or treat. "Do you know how much candy you can buy for $500," I might say. We actually nearly broke the party record, and probably would have if we hadn't eaten it all night. The record was just under 61 ibs, and we weighed in at 59. Certainly ate more than 2 ibs, and we didn't go all out on trick or treating either. It was about 9 full size totes full where we dumped the offical bags into and stored in strollers and emptied backpacks. It was not fun taking the extra carryons on the plane since the straps felt like they were going to break my fingers.
