No, the new electrical light parade that's coming to MK, not the Halloween Parade. I can't make the connection as to why that would make announcing the party dates delayed, but what do I know.

Maybe they are waiting to see when they want to debut Starlight (and possibly push MNSSHP back later in the season)

I don't doubt the price will go up - like the price of EVERYTHING.

But if they have the party for fewer days, it will likely go up much more than if they keep the same number of days.

No need to "fix it for [me]".

I was REALLY hoping a new party would be put together for HS - like Jollywood - especially with the Villian show. So more adult at HS - more family at MK.

I’m not sure the Starlight parade has much to do with the lack of Halloween announcements. I would have to assume that scheduling would have been one of the first things considered…if they are having issues with Starlight that are causing delays (which seems very likely to me, I can’t imagine they weren’t aiming to have it open with the new shows at HS and “cool kid summer”), I don’t see how it impacts Halloween announcements.

I definitely would not be going to MK on a non party day once it debuts though. If you think crowds are bad for HEA on those days just think about what a brand new nighttime parade is going to do for them. Not unless they do 2 showings, one before HEA and one after. I know they used to do that with MSEP.

I'm not so sure the starlight parade is being delayed. Disney has switched all of the Deluxe MK hours to Animal Kingdom for the month of July, which strongly suggests they are on track for a July debut of the parade. Otherwise they would not have switched the deluxe hours offering.

When I say delayed it’s in the sense that July is definitely not when they originally wanted to debut it. And that’s been pretty consistent with what insiders have been saying.

Regardless I don’t think it’s impacting Halloween announcements. I think that was more down to the Abu Dhabi news.

I just want them to announce the merch so I know whether or not to hold out for a Halloween themed magicband or not. They have to announce dates by the end of this month if they want to avoid backlash of selling tickets within the 60 day booking window of August.

FYI, tickets for booked guests did not go on sale today. I called and had to go to internet help desk as last year's (unused) tickets were on my account. They could not assign my tickets as the 2025 tickets were not in the system yet.

I think they were reading the first post. The first post has last year's info, not updated yet with this year's info.
