It was the second to last ride of our night, twice. Probably 12:45-12:55. We got in line for Splash at 12:57.
Oops! I see your question wasn’t for me, lol!
Lol that’s okay. We weren’t able to stay on BTMRR but we rode it right when dah started.

Something seems off about that one night. It doesn't fit with any other review I've seen or the nights I've gone
Heck, check out this one from Josh for just a couple nights before, on July 14th
https://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/review-magic-kingdom-disney-after-hours-summer-2018-edition/

The nights we've attended we were encouraged by the CM to take as many drinks away with us as we could carry. They actually placed them in our bags.

We are back on 8/30 so I'll see how it compares.
I used Josh’s chart with times for each attraction and added up what we did during DAH. Our rides totaled 1 hour and 55 minutes. That doesn’t include wait times, walking, snack stops or bathroom breaks. Interesting.

We didn’t get to stay on either, but there was no wait other than the time it took to walk the queue.

I guess the only reason I was a little disappointed was because I kept seeing reports of people staying on rides and re riding but we weren’t able to experience that. We still got to ride everything we wanted.

Note: I’ve gone back and read some reports about July 21st and was flabbergasted to see that folks experienced crowds and problems! That was not my experience at all. It is so interesting that people can go to the same event and have such different experiences and views.

If anyone here is on the fence about this event, I highly recommend it! We’ve been to several MNSSHPs and a couple MVMCPs, and the after hours event beat them hands down. We went on July 21, arrived about 7:00. Crowds were nuts, weather was hot and steamy, and I was seriously second-guessing my decision. The sun went down and fireworks happened and then everybody left and took the heat with them! We rode and snacked all evening. The longest wait was maybe 8 min at 7DMT, even though the posted wait was 20 min. It didn’t take much longer than to simply get through the queue and then wait for the next train. We rode Buzz (a personal favorite for sentimental reasons) 3 times in a row without getting off. We had Mickey ice cream bars and ice cream sandwiches, popcorn, water, and sodas. All locations we visited had plenty of snacks. There were parts of the park where we didn’t see another person, esp near the Gaston statue and the Little Mermaid area.

I hate the heat and crowds and this event is the only way I’ll visit WDW in the summer. If you haven’t gone yet, get your ticket today!

It's going to be different for me because I don't plan on even getting into the park till around fireworks starting. I already have a magic kingdom day on my plan, so the after hours is gonna be a bonus.

I'm gonna have a nice dinner and then plan on being in the parks as fireworks begin to start heading over somewhere

Same with us, it happens to be the same night we plan on seeing Fantasmic. Going to take a Minnie Van over to MK after. We had thought about going to one in January and didn't, so I'm surprising my husband. And we'll be there a whole week anyways, so this is all just bonus time.

What have people been doing for dinner? We were planning on entering the part at 6 for the 9-12 pm DAH in Sept. We have a few FPs scheduled and want to ride 7DMT during the fireworks (our FP is scheduled for 730-830). Eating prior to 6 is going to be a bit early for us.

We are staying WL CL and plan to eat in the lounge before heading over. I plan to leaves plentiful of room for snacks, lol

We stayed at CSR and ate at Rix Bar and grill at around 3:30.

Not sure when exactly today it happened, but tonight is now showing as sold out. First sell out of this summer series AFAIK.

I last checked around 2pm today, so it sold out sometime between then and now.

So do you DAH veterans suggest going clockwise around the park? I was going to do that I think.
