Cancelled CBR standard 9/12-9/15. Moved to POFQ for $189/night through Priceline. I hope someone here snags it.

Are your kids younger? We will have 5 in the room too, our kids are 14,10 and 6. So while I'd prefer to be at CbR and it'd be cheaper.....I think we might need to do 2 rooms at a value. Have you done 5 there before?
This is our first time taking 3 kids with us. They will be 18,16 & 13. This was really our only choice in our budget. I tried pricing out 2 rooms at All Stars but it was about $1000 more. We don't spend much time in our room and I can sleep just about anywhere so worse case would have me sleeping on the Murphy bed. I slept for 6 nights in coach on a train,I'm sure I can handle sleeping on it!
There really aren't many affordable options for families of 5....

They make it very hard and more costly for a family of 5! For the dates we are going there's only about a $200 difference between 1 room at cbr and 2 at a value.....so we are lucky for that......I'm just still trying to decide which is better.......but it's Disney!!! Whatever we do will be fantastic!!

I am so nervous about the cost of flights. It will seriously determine whether we are able to take our trip in November.

My 17 yo agreed to join us this time (yay!!!), but adding him is adding extra cost as well.

Looking at flights for 4 to Orlando, it will be almost $1200! And I doubt prices will go down drastically when they are released for November.

I haven't even told my kids I booked the trip yet because I'm afraid we won't be able to go.

(3 of us flew to Orlando in January for about $450! What happened to the cost of flights?!!)

Saturday sept 23rd has a BOG dinner ressie for 6:10 open if anyone wants to snag it:rolleyes:

I'm booked for CBR 11/18 through 11/24 in a standard room with a GC. I haven't been able to add FD yet. I did it last year. It's still early but I'm getting a little discouraged. Should I give it more time or change resorts and give up the GC? What do you think my odds would be for POP?

Just booked for my sister that same week at POP, and am still seeing availability for 11/18 through 11/23 in POP standard now.

Personally I would book a second Ressie at pop and kept the CBR and keep checking. I checked pop for your dates the only thing I could find was the 18-23rd! Good luck!

Caribbean Beach currently available 11/18-23

I feel like this is all such a letdown after all the build up and anticipation waiting for FD to come out.
RO discounts are much better, especially since I only need theme park tickets for my daughter/grandson. But hey, the dining is "FREE" :sad2:
So now I can go back and forth a 1000 times whether to switch to RO at ASMovies (GS is obsessed with Buzz!) or stay at Pop with FD and bank our 2 unneeded park hopper tickets for the future. ASMovies and tickets for them is $1300 cheaper than Pop and I can't see any of us eating that much food in a week. If we do, then we got big problems.

You can only bank them through the end of next year. I am going to use my CBR gift card and turn them in to Gold Passes for the future.

My first time using quote function, so hope I didn't mess it up, LOL. But I think I heard that they can be used even after end of the following year, it's just that you'd have to pay the difference in ticket price if tickets went up (which of course they will.) But at least that way you would still get to use the tickets and not lose them if you couldn't get back before end of the next year. (If I understand that right)???

Not sure if you mean round trip, but keep checking because I was having sticker shock also but it was for flights coming home. Nothing less than 167 a piece one way for 5 of us. Well one day I checked and there was a $74 dollar flight. It wasn't my ideal time of day or connection but whatever!

Bon Voyage is a new breakfast at Trattorria al Forno with new menu that started beginning of April. It is a character meal featuring Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider ( Eugene). I cant wait for breakfast and to meet the characters.
We decided to just do QS this trip, but definitely booked Bon Voyage so we could meet Eugene!! Can't wait till October!!
