We were having the great stroller debate too last night. I have all summer to see how he does at our local theme park (before we would use a sit n stand there and he would sit a lot, this summer I am making him walk), but my main issue is not that my 6 year old can do it, but in the crowds. It is just so much easier to navigate the kids in a crowded area with them in a double stroller. Last trip we mainly parked it once we got in a land walked around every where, but it was so nice to have entering/exiting the parks. Its a lot to pay to have just for that, but if it makes the trip more enjoyable so be it. I would do the hard plastic ones if it was just for that, but since I have a 3 (almost 4 yr old) who still needs one might as well do the double.

Honestly when I think about it, its just the Magic Kingdom too I worry about with crowd levels. He walked almost every other park entirely.

I love it for the peace of mind too. Everyone is happier when I don't have to stress about losing a kid, or get on the older one to keep up and stay close!

Is Beach Club usually included ? If so... Should I reserve it now and try to apply free dining when it hits ?

It's way easier to book it when it comes out than to change an existing reservation IMO

BREAKING FREE DINING NEWS!!!

Here's what I have:

FD "will" drop Monday.

POR "is" included until Sept. 30th, but it's excluded for November and December.

Values and Moderates are getting Quick Service.

That's what I have. I will be away from this site for 2-3 hrs, but will be back by early afternoon.

That's not such a bad thing though if you're up early. Just keep refreshing the page.it prevents the site from crashing and moves a lot faster then you think...don't get scared if it says over an hour wait it usually moves way faster! Lilly pulitzer does this with their sale and Hess toy trucks did this too. Just get there early and refresh, refresh, refresh! Can you tell I have an online shopping problem?!!?! Haha. Yet-I always get what I want! The early bird gets the worm....or in this case the FD, clothes, or toy trucks!

Since you've done this online queue thing before, can you tell me a little more about it? You say to keep hitting refresh, so that doesn't mean I'm jumping out of line over and over again? Would it help to have multiple devises? If I'm using my 3 laptops, 2 iPads and all 4 phones in the house, would that mean I'm in line 9 times?

Hello to a fellow military family! We're inTexas! I confess I have just been watching this site rather than posting. It moves so fast it's hard to catch up with the action.. But can't help reading the posts, absolutely love all the disboard action and responses.

We would love to do the military room and tickets this year, but there are too many of us. We usually have 7 or 8 family members going and the tickets are only good for 6 people. It seems to me that Disney doesn't seem to plan for bigger families but we're happy that they are good to the military. So, we wait on free dining and hope and pray it drops soon.

I think someone else already chimed in on the dependent family members, but if they are extended family, you could buy the regular discounted military tickets for that one or two and still take advantage of the room discount (40% on deluxe!), get the 5-day salute, and I bet it will still be cheaper than free dining. Stay in one of the Treehouses at Saratoga and do breakfast in the kitchen. Run the numbers.

P.S. Are you at Ft. Hood? We were there in the late 90s.

I always rent a car so I usually pop over to Walmart and buy two basic egg crates - usually about $13 each! If you don't have a car, you can have them shipped from Walmart with free shipping if you spend the min for free shipping. I prefer the 2" version, but those are $20 each so depends on how much you want to spend. I never bring them home - I am sure it's possible, but it never fits in luggage .

We don't know. We don't know time it will drop. Waiting to lunch depends on how flexible you are. Last year there was still availability a month after FD dropped. But if your dates and resort or set then the earlier you book the better.

RO will drop on monday as well but all rumors point out to only Deluxe getting RO discounts and only from August-September. That's what it is for the Brazilian RO offer.
