I don't know if this is true as fact. But I just asked why the dis didn't list the buffet price by dates anymore in that thread and was told it no longer varies per season.

I priced mine using the higher amount anyway just to be safe although we're going in a low(er) season.

Our dates have been like that for a couple weeks. Fortunately we are booked already at rack rate since our dates are fixed. FD probably wont help us, but a RO discount would be nice.

It's a glitch we are watching. There are are hardly any resorts for any dates. If they do come up super pricey ones. We thought oh no everyone is booking up in anticipation of free dining but it is happening even in totally non FD times.

then they drop free dining when no one expects it, because many ppl see it was sold out so won't try again.

First-timer here.. how exactly do we book free dining? If the offer is open do I have to click on park hopper and also add dining before checking out or will it add the dining plan automatically at checkout?

Is that taking into account the seasonal change in prices? It has a range for buffets/set price because it's cheaper at some times of the year than others.

I can't comment fully on that, but my original post here was for the exact date I booked CRT.
