I only started collecting pins last year at Disneyland, but I only get pins I want to keep, so I haven't graduated to trading yet.

Terri

Trading is one way to get pins you really want to keep. We buy something like this: https://www.disneystore.com/pin-set...ureland-tsum-tsum-pin-set/mp/1424952/1000286/ and then trade for pins we see we really want. When my boys were little (picture over there), we bought Disney Princess sets, because we knew they would trade every one of them for something else. It was great fun.

I am still getting an error when I choose Disney from the menu at the top.

My guess is it's no-go this weekend if we aren't hearing anything. Looks like we are hanging out in this clubhouse a few more weeks.popcorn::

It is not working for me anymore either; small hope that they might be updating their site; but we have not heard any whispers yet from black or the dirty steve or even whisperings about it falling on Monday - you may be correct; just keep swimming :fish:

:offtopic:It seems to be a bit slow this morning. So I'll ask this question: Where is your favorite place to just sit and relax in any of the parks?
This one is tough. I feel it has changed over the years and depending on who is with me at the moment. I've always enjoyed the side view/garden near the Castle. People Mover we love!

I remember waiting for a night parade (may have been a MNSSHP) and I would leave my niece sitting in her stroller so I knew she had her space but then I would sit down next to her. I had to wait extra long as it was just the two of us for a good spot. Well about 10-15 min later a family comes up behind me and I let them know what I planned on doing once it was close to starting. They were so happy as I planned on standing behind her stroller. That gave them enough room for the little kids to be up close to my niece and the one in the wheel chair behind them and anyone else behind her. A CM must have overheard what I said and said thank you to me.

Another time I was at AK and had waited a long time for a spot to see the parade. I was pushed by some guy who decided to shove his way into a spot. When he found out my niece was asleep in her stroller he wanted to go in front of her. I wouldn't let him. He then stuck his camcorder in my way while I was trying to do my own video. So rude.

Like everyone, I soooo want this wait to be over! I've checked off most of the trip planning things so far, now just waiting, waiting, waiting. Already got hotel/airfare taken care of. ADR's have been made. ROL dining package done (but hoping they will add MWF showtimes eventually).

Now just waiting on: Star Wars Dessert party (probably have a longer wait for that one, as they don't seem to open up more than 1-2 months in advance), Fastpass, and FREE DINING.

Also need to decide between Base and Park Hopper ticks. Hoping we get free dining so that decision will be made for us. Originally we had just planned on doing Base tiks because of the travel time between parks, but now the Express bus has made that more convenient. I'm also thinking because the time of year we will be going is so empty (mid-september), it may be nice to switch around to different parks. And the ROL dining made it more complicated, as we planned on doing Monday as there is an AM EMH; we have the Thursday booked (as well as both sundays as maybes but those will be cancelled once things are more set in stone); so may end up doing AK Monday morning, then PH to epcot, and reverse that on Thursday. But oh well, just have to keep crossing my fingers!

I saw several people mentioning the Unique Offer Code mailer and we got ours today. I just called Disney and the offer was better than what is currently listed on their website for the Summer Saving at Poly however we already have a room booked and it wasn't cheaper so I passed. I forgot to ask though, if we already have a reservation will they apply the offer code to our current reservation? Anyone know?

I was travelling the past few days and I feel like I missed so much, even though I obviously didn't! Haha! To everyone who is running out of steam: DON'T GIVE UP! Just think of all of the delicious Disney food you will be eating on your trip and how nice and relieving it will be to know you got it with FD! I always let out so much stress once I actually book it and know that I've got it.

I'm already planning for Sunday night to be an all nighter. Lol.

I've already warned my DH that I will be staying up Sunday night  Give me a few snacks, some tea and some video games and I'm good to go!

Loved those 2011 FD dates!!! We went and checked in on June 2nd. We stayed at Coronado Springs, and it was an awesome trip. The rack room rates weren't near as bad back then either!

We were there at Coronado June 12 for our honeymoon that year with FD. It was still our best trip yet and I remember almost exactly how much the package from Disney cost us. It makes me cringe seeing the package prices now :scared1:

I'm cleaning today....in between hangin' with all you folks. I'm waiting for that one weekend....that one longed for weekend, when that fated rumor is released! Then the flurry of activity, pages and pages of excitement! Then the all nighter, with wine or beer or hard liquor! Or in my case a cup of tea...LOL. I may light a candle and play Disney music in the background to spur me on! Oh what a night! :rockband:

Tea for me too! I think that's part of the excitement with FD is the build up and then that looooong fateful night where FD gets dropped. It was so much fun last year!

Since I'm waiting I thought I'd try testing my ticker...In more ways than one :P

I have used a UOC on a reservation I had already made. It may have been that the type of room I was staying in was available with that UOC. But, it worked for me.

I'm seriously addicted to making tickers! :rotfl: I don't have our dates yet though because I'm waiting to see what's being offered in December with FD. I basically don't have anything planned yet at all because I'm stuck waiting for FD to drop. Oh, wait, that's not true! I do have some car rentals booked for random 10 day intervals just in case.

Thanks! I'll call back and check. The room she was offering was a Theme Park View and I'm currently booked in Standard. Was interesting though because with Summer Savings Offer they only have Theme Park View Club Rooms available.

If the room type you have is not currently available with the UOC, wait a few days and call again. After FD drops, someone may let a room go that would work. I really don't know all the rules to the game, but I don't give up easily and usually get some type of discount that works.

Oh, I forgot to say. I've got a website picked out to create a private chat room for when the boards go down on the night FD drops. It's great because it doesn't require any sign up for people to join. It will be an awesome night! :jumping1:

This is great and really good timing. I've been reading in the old 2016 thread number 2 trying to find what they used. Lol!!! I'm in page 46. :thanks:
