Good grief didn't even think to worry about this. I need to know before May 31st. At least I'm not planning things that are that sought after. No CRT or BOG.

Hate to make things sound even worse, but if our friend is correct, and Disney will wait on Pandora's affect, it may be later than May 31.

However, I do see another scenario. They bring out FD before the end of April like the most recent normal, BUT, you have to book the package by May 15 or something, a date well before Pandora opens. This way, if it gets the hype they're hoping for and bookings pick up after opening, the FD offer would be long gone.

The only reason I booked though was because of how fast rooms are being booked up. So if that is the case and you really want to stay onsite how can you not book? I'd rather stay onsite and pay for DDP then stay offsite. I didn't book until every time I looked it was getting harder and harder to get rooms to come up. Then there was no availability for CSR or CBR. Still isn't. Felt forced to book a value so I would have something before more resorts sell out. I wanted CSR or CBR originally and wished I had booked those months ago but believed in the old adage that if we book up the resort they won't offer free dining. So I missed out on a moderate because of it.

I'm pretty flexible. Any 10 days between 11/27-12/21.

Hey i agree with you. You're put in a tough spot, what can you do? Its unfortunate you were put in that position at all.

See you are willing to stay onsite and pay for the ddp. So again i see where you are coming from & why you booked. Im not. No fd means i will probably be offsite unless theres a good fall discount.

People book to try and reserve a room for fd, which then leads to those who wanted to wait feeling like they have to book to get a spot, which eventually leads to less spots for fd.

Hoping for the best though!!

Type A versus Type B. My bestie and I want to go to WDW one day together. I love to plan, in fact I'm pretty sure planning the vacation is slightly more fun than the vacation itself. She does NOT plan. She likes roller coasters, I don't. Carousel of progress and soarin are my favorites she can't stand either. I love sit down meals and she rather get a corn dog and go. I think a trip together would be hilarious.

I learned a long time ago not to worry about things that are not in my control. That's all that I meant. In 5 years, none of this will matter to any of us. It seems so important now, but it really isn't important at all.

We will take a trip in the fall with or without FD, but y'all sure make this a fun ride!!!

Anyone have any info based off the Spanish website rumor about August? The post said possible FD the third and last week of August. My BB is currently for the 4th week of August into the 5th week and it does seem like that 4th week has very limited availability. If I move back into the 3rd week...like 8/16, 8/17 there is way more available! Almost every resort and room category (including lots of standard rooms). So while I'm kind of discouraged that they would offer FD so far back into August since the current promo goes til the 31st, based on my own searching I could see this being a possibility....We are flexible and open to most August dates I just feel bad for DH it's supposed to be his 40th birthday trip but my birthday is the 3rd week of August and his is the last week. Selfishly I don't mind being there for my birthday..... Akershus here we come! (I think that's the only way I'll ever get a princess meal in!)

Last night before going to bed I checked the summer offer one more time for our dates and found A Poly Standard room. So I booked it. Now to figure out if FD is a better deal than RO offer.

I was also able to reserve the ROL dining reservation at Tusker House for last week in August.

All in all it was a good day.

The only thing that I see that goes through September 30 are the tickets I got two new offers overnight one is for Florida residence through August 31 and then the other one is For pass holders offer through August 31.
