I've been searching for a BOG dinner reservation for Thursday, Sept 7th with no luck. Was able to get breakfast, but we've never done dinner and I (I mean my DD) wants to see the beast!

Today was our 180 day mark. Woke up early and got all the reservations I wanted.

Since some of you guys are holding down the fort, mind if I hang out with you today?

Before you ask, no rumors and yes, I checked this morning.

So, first off....bloggers and their preferred travel agencies. Let's face it, we live in a time where information is money. Some bloggers dedicate their lives to providing great info about Disney. There are inherent costs to provide this service which is for the most part free of charge to the public. Now, I know some of these guys and most have the best intentions. BUT, I feel honesty is the standard.

I don't blog. We spend a TON of time in the parks each year, making some 6-7 trips each year. It's where my family takes time out of our busy schedules to reconnect. If I can share that type of experience with others, then I feel my time on the boards has been useful.

Thanks for hanging with us and putting my mind at ease. I feel better when you comment and I know you're still watching out for us.

K, peeps. This is a bit off topic, but I'm seeing dates popping up through the end of September for Rivers of Light dining packages, but no availability. Is this because the system is still coming online for reservations or are they really all booked up already?

I am wondering the same thing! I am looking for a day in August (Already have just a reg. Tusker house reservation made, but you love to cancel that one and get ROL package @ Tusker house instead… I have tried all 11 days of my trip in August and there is nothing available for 3, or 4 people ( i need for 3 ppl).
Hoping this is just a glitch and that reservations become available. I will keep checking throughout the day/week/months with my fingers crossed lol

I would like a ROL dining package, as well.
Here's my ADRs so far. My kids are 3 and 4.

Day 1-BOG dinner
Day 2- Disney jr breakfast @hollywood and Vine
Day 3-breakfast at Chef Mickeys, dinner at Jiko for my husband and I,
Dinner at Crystal PALace for my kids and family
Day 4-lunch at Coral Reef
Day 5-dinner at CRT
DAy 6-dinner at Tusker House
Day 7- I have a lunch at Sci-Fi and early dinner at Beaches and Cream. Is that too much in one day??
Day 8- QS probably since we're leaving this day

I bet when FD is announced there will be people changing plans and ADR's in the first couple of weeks. Things might open up then!

I don't know. We got 3 for dinner in the 5-6 hour. Probably going to cancel at least one to eat somewhere else

I was reading over in the dining threads and it seems that it's not bookable in the system yet. People have called in and we're told to just keep checking. So I guess we just keep checking periodically throughout the day

For your kiddo free trip I recommend Narcoosses.

I second this and also recommend that you book a ressie around the same time as the fireworks show - Narcoosses has a killer view across the lake.

Ok so after watching a few reviews fo CRT it seems they do have a steak and shrimp dish but..I've heard so much about how bad the food is there. Why would a signature dining allow their food to go down the drain so bad? I am unsure we want to do this. Sure we would love a Princess meal in the Castle, but we do still want edible food. If we get free dining do we give up (a dinner show at polly) or two other meals and try this CRT?

I called Disney, and the CM told me that times won't be loaded until the schedule for RoL is published, which could be a while. But isn't it odd that they would show the dates on reservations if they weren't going to load the times soon? Does anyone know of another situation where the date showed availability but times weren't loaded until weeks or months later?
