That will be for 2018 in the U.K. last year U.K. 2017 free dining dropped on the April 21 and ours came out April 24.
And in further research it came out April 23 and ours came out April 27 in 2015. Could that mean our will drop April 10??
April the 10 would be a very good educated guess the rumor has been the 17th, but that's very close to Easter and a holiday in Canada.

Hey everyone! I didn't do the free dining last year because our trip was the middle of October for my daughter's wedding. This year I am thinking about booking. Does anyone remember what the requirements were last year and what the first dates in November were? I have the weekday annual pass so buying a two day park hopper would give me the week-end days in the parks. If I need a three day it makes things a bit more interesting.

November 15th, 2 day tickets w/add on, would be PH this year

Here's a link to the thread that has the link to the travel agent calendars. October was just released, and you'll see November at that link before anywhere else.

I'll bet a whole lotta money these calendars are subject to drastic change. I'm going the last week of September and it has AK closing at 7pm. Sunset isn't until 7:30ish. Touring Plans has already updated their planning schedules to AK being open until 9 pm to include ROL and Tree of Life Awakenings. Don't take those schedules as being set in stone.

THis is something I am so confused by. Last year we were there the last week in August and AK was open until 11pm Almost every night! It is one of my favorite parks at nighttime and my last week of September dates this year are all early closings basically! I know it's too early but I'm going to need a night or two there!

Does anyone know if you can have 2 people logged into the one MDE account at the same time trying to book things?
So DH on his phone and me on the laptop, both logged into my MDE looking at options when/if FD drops?
I think some people have been able to do so, but I know I had issues. When I was booking ADRs I was trying on my phone and laptop at the same time. It kept screwing up on both. Then I gave up on the phone and it started working perfectly fine on the laptop.

Can he just try to book without being logged in? And then transfer the reservation to your MDE account?

Thanks. I guess he only needs to be looking and if he finds something I'll book it.

K, peeps. This is a bit off topic, but I'm seeing dates popping up through the end of September for Rivers of Light dining packages, but no availability. Is this because the system is still coming online for reservations or are they really all booked up already?

Hey Neeky! Mine too! Got the 4 I wanted most: CP breakfast @9.35 on Fri 6th (will see if a later time comes up as we get closer).
BOG @5.25 on Fri 6th
CRT @6.55 Sat 7th

I booked Bon Voyage for 10 am on the 2nd too. That is a non park day for us.

Got a couple of others that we will do if we end up with FD.

We're going with some friends who arrive a few days earlier than us, so they were able to book our joint dining (BOG, Akershus etc), so I only had a few to do and they were pretty flexible. But it was still exhilarating!

It's our 180 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just booked Ohana for our first night, Crystal Palace for dinner one night and 1900 Park Fare for our last breakfast. Feels so real when you hit that
"confirm" button.

:hourglass:yay::banana::cheer2::bounce::hyper:party:

We love ohana on our first night. Always book for 8pm so we can be there for fireworks/castle show with the music piped in. It's a "you have arrived at Disney" event!!!

It sure is! Only problem is that it is now bedtime for me (just gone 11pm in New Zealand), and I am too bouncy to get to sleep yet!

Doesn't look like they have the times loaded, but at least they're making progress.

Unfortunately I could only get 9.15pm, so we'll watch the fireworks first then eat. I'll keep an eye out for an earlier time. Are the Halloween fireworks on at the same time? This will be end of September.
I'm really looking forward to this one!

if FD does drop before you know about your DH plans, could you just book a FD package for the 2nd set of dates (if they qualify)? You would have to put down another $200 deposit but then you would have both sets of dates covered and can cancel one package as soon as you know for sure
Yes, that's my current plan! I'm just worried that these current promos end on August 31st.....in the past they have ended a lot earlier!

Ok, I caved. Just changed out Crystal Palace dinner reservation for CRT. I wasn't going to do it, but there was a reservation available for dinner on the night we're at Magic Kingdom, so I grabbed it!

It sounds like it was meant to be! I know that the food is supposed to be pretty poor for the price - but it is in the castle!!!

Argh, only problem with booking dining 180 days out - still 180 days to go!
