Travel agent. She's been doing it for 13 years and she was just in a meeting tonight. Again maybe she isn't telling me the truth but she doesn't seem the type to pull my leg. I'm hoping she's right about CBR because that's where I have my ressie now and hoping to double dip

You heard about CBR as well? Were you told GC and FD?

I've read about it on many travel websites. They don't "watch" you, their website knows you've visited, like every other website does, and the prices do go up.

I heard this on headline news too. Lots of sites do it, amazon as well.

I worked for a major airline and, while they do not intentionally raise prices by looking, if you go to a site enough times, the info does kind of gets stuck. If that is by design or not is something I cannot attest to.
Disney has the same with their system sometimes as well.

No my TA didn't speculate on FD but she said you can still get FD even if you gave GC

I don't know if I can handle waiting til mid April for free dining! It seems like forever from now. I spoke with a woman I know who is a Disney TA and she also said mid-April is when it is usually released. I hope they are all wrong....

I don't have kids either, but why should adults have to base their vacations around their kids time off from school.

Fair question. My response would be that kids have set time off while most adults don't, with the possible exception of christmas.

Having said that, if a parent works a job where they have set time off, or must take their vacation at certain times, then that is a different story.

This thread is contagious! I was just checking in to see how things were going in case we go next year. I mentioned to my family that it was time for FD to come out soon and now we are all looking at our schedules to see if we might be able to pull it off this year! I'm not sure if it will work because we have some conflicting work schedules. Fingers crossed though that we can pull it off!!! Then I could join this party for real!!!
