Here's what I don't get about those who are booking now hoping to get FD added on. It doesn't get added on. Let's say someone is booked for POR in a Standard View and FD comes out and POR has Garden View and Preferred View only. You can't add dining to your SV reservation. You would have to either change to GV or PV to get FD. And by booking before it's offered, it just takes rooms away that Disney will say well we don't need to offer that category it's filled. I have nothing booked and will purchase my FD offer Monday morning when it drops.

Having a pre-existing reservation doesn't guarantee one FD.

Question please! I always confuse myself. We are arriving 12/3 and leaving 12/9. I have the disney dining plan. Do I get credits on departure day as well?
We aren't doing a table service on arrival day, so I am using that one another day. Just can't remember if we get it on 12/9 as well? Thanks so much!

That's what I would do too! We stayed at CBR the last 2 years with FD and my kids love it! When we booked the BB for FD though only pirate rooms were available so we decided to do standard WL. DH is 6'5" so the thought of paying more for far away rooms and double beds doesn't appeal to us! However if I got $75/night and QS I would stay there and use the gc for a few TS restaurants.....you'd really get a lot of food that way!

Our TS meals will cost. 1600$ fir us five, without desert or drinks .Cheaper to just upgrade to reg dp at CBR and use gift cards on other stuff.What are you honna use yours on if any one has gift cards? That will be a fun topic!

You can use your credits that you still have not used on your departure day..but you do not technically get credits for your departure day.

Will they let you use your meal credits at ts locations now with only one person on the plan? It use to be you could only use plan credits to buy meals for those on your plan. If you had 2 adults you could only buy 2 ts meals at a time etc. I ran into that using qs credits even in the past.

You can now use your credits to buy meals for people not on your plan, so no problem.

Based on your nights, so you would have 6TS, 6QS, 12 snacks for DDP. You can use them until midnight of your check-out day.

Exactly right. Unless you are going regardless and want to make sure you have a room locked in or you have another offer you booked with, it doesn't make sense to book it now. You are just making more work for yourself as well as possibly talking Disney out of offering free dining for that resort category and or time.

You can use your credits whenever you want, but you will only have credits per night that you stay. On the DDP, you would get 6 table service, 6 quick service and 12 snacks per person for the trip since you are staying 6 nights.

Selfishly, I'm hoping a lot of you who have CBR standard rooms do just that. There were no military discounts available for the standard rooms when we booked, so if a lot of them come open, we may be in luck.

If I stay 6 nights but only get 5 days tickets, do I get the fd for the 6 nights? Or 5 ticket days?........also if cbr is starting renos in may, will they done by November?

Nobody answered me about whether Boulder Ridge is historically included in FD. I hadn't even heard of this resort, maybe I've stumped everyone.

Correct. If you are going anyway and want to stay in the resort you booked great, but if you book hoping to add FD when it drops you won't automatically get it unless that category has availability.

You get credits for every night you stay. The day you check out won't give you credits, but any you have left over don't expire until 12am that night. We usually have more than enough qs left over for that day.

You get the credit per night of stay. 7 nights=7 TS, 7 CS, 14 snack credits per paid guest with DP. I believe you have until midnight on the day of checkout to utilize your balance.
