You know, I wasn't going to do anything at BOG, because I don't particularly care for their menu but after seeing the movie, I have to do it! I'm going to try for it, but I may be too late now.
never too late. scored a BOG, CRT and Ohanas the week leading up to our trip; actually i Scored it the day before for Ohana - Because of the cancellation policy i have found that a day or two before alot of reservations "magically" appear :-)

Maybe a change of topic is in order! I have a question for those of you who do not have set dates. Will you book FD and then go look for airfare that day, or possibly even wait? What if the flights are that much more expensive that it offsets any value you are getting from the FD? Would the alternative be to check flights the morning FD drops before pushing the FD button so to speak? I keep playing with possible dates for free dining and some of the airfare is outrageous. I think I am leaning toward checking flights first as opposed to booking as fast as I can. Now that I think of it I guess this mostly applies to those traveling August/September, as I know most of November and December isn't released yet (I'm referring specifically to southwest).

How about another pass-the-time fun topic...

I like JetBlue and they released their December flights the 2nd so that is adding to my FD twitch I currently have. Flight pricing changes so often my plan was to book FD (unless the date range is too far outside my plans) and then circle back to flights. If FD doesnt work out then I will pin down my exact travel dates and see how pricing looks, it was $212 for me but jumped up over weekend (of course) Last year I booked FD in June and flights in August ($176 round trip I couldn't believe it)

We go through this dilemma every year. We have a bb booked every year, but our dates always need to be changed for one reason or another. When we fly, we try to book airfare as soon as possible and adjust our dates around cheap flights. It doesn't always work, but we love SW.

Tom on disney tourist blog says that the best flight prices are between 3 months and 6 weeks before travel date.

Also, about the funny looking dolls, my daughter has the Alice from the live action Alice in Wonderland movie, and she is very creepy too.

I really need to book flights but I am waiting to see if FD drops. If it's not out by the end of April, I'll probably just go ahead and book the flights anyway. Prices on flights are going up, for sure, but with 6 people in our family, the potential to save money on dining is of more value.

I'd like to fly Alaskan because they have direct flights from Portland, but I'm afraid I won't be able to book it if it's too much longer.

MK: SDMT, Haunted Mansion

HS: TSMM, RNR

EPCOT: Soarin, Test Track

AK: EE, Flight of Passage

$176 is a great price! I always look at JetBlue but end up with Southwest. Jetblue doesn't have much service out of my airport (PVD in RI). One of the weeks I'm looking at the flights were $400 per person ( Southwest) which is definitely not in the budget. I've had luck waiting closer to travel time though.

I am spoiled that my airport (Newark) has tons of options and airlines to pick from - $250 used to be a standard rdtp to Orlando when I saw the $176 I was like SCORE! And up until that price the DH was still on the fence on if we should even go. Now he is asking if I booked this year yet!

So, here it is another Monday morning and nothing! :offtopic:When I got home yesterday I posted that I saw Beauty and the Beast, and didn't hear back from anyone, as to whether you all have seen it? I loved it, was totally captivated by it, and it put me right in Disney, wishing I had booked BOG for a meal. Has anyone in here seen it? Opinions?[/QUOT

absolutely, positively loved it!! And it made me want to be back at Disney right that minute! Not that it takes much to make me feel that way. lol! But the movie was wonderful in my opinion!
