Just changed our ADR. We are going to Skippers at 415 pm on 9/25. 2 adults. We have pirate league appointments at 1230p. My husband will be a pirate. He is wearing pirate shirt and black shorts. I will be a mermaid. I will be wearing a tutu skirt that comes to just above my knees and a purple shirt.

Thanks for asking! Harley Quinn & DS Joker costumes are based on “The Adventures of Batman & Robin" 1969-1970 animated series and Two-Face is from "Batman Forever" starring Tommy Lee Jones. I'm almost done sewing Two-Face costume. Purchased Harley Quinn's but honestly I don't like this one piece body suit with hood from ebay. The fabric is VERY sheer and you have to remove everything to take a potty break! Hmmm, may have to make a new costume for her. Bought the fabric for Joker and look forward to this challenging costume. If I run out of time DS could wear his Riddler costume I made last year, we'll see!

Oh, I see you'll be there as well as the Wicked Witch - excellent! If you happen to see us please let us know where we can find Batman and you'll get a reward! Two face will be flipping his Target gift card coin and Joker will be shoveling a deck of Target gift cards!!!

Ha awesome. Yea i've seen some unforgiving fabric in female superhero Costumes. I think that hot topic sells or sold a hoodie version of it so you could make it two piece. I actually ended up making my Rogue one from things I bought on online clothing stores and had a seamstress make the cloak. I used her costume of Legacy from the Strain 88 arc.

Will have to! Yea I have a feeling we'll all pretty much stand out in costumes.

I have to ask you about your Wicked Witch makeup, for Harley I have to "paint" my face white, the stuff I found really rubs off, what makeup do you use? DH will be painting half of his face, but not to the degree on the big screen (totally do not want to scare kids) and his makeup rubs off too. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Your complete look is picture perfect! TIA

I'll have to play with this site to learn how to post photos of our costumes, when my son was 2 I made him a lion costume - really cute, but extremely difficult. We were dressed as Wizard of Oz characters: DH - Scarecrow, DGpa - Tin man, Me - Dorthy, after all the hard work I only have a photo of DS!!! Grrrr! Since then we get portraits taken in-store or at home, we get it enlarged at Staples on poster paper $10 and hang it over the mantel. I use the same frame every year, call me cheap but it works!

I use mehron aq paradise seamist green, then a coat of mehron aq paradise amazon green so if the one lay swears thru the color doesn't change. I got a pack of professional sponges from target and a mister from a dollar store. You mist the makeup so its slightly wet for the sponge. Then i use transulcent powder and then what keeps it all on is graftobian setting spray. The makeup is all water activated so you cant just take it off with water and soap when you use the spray. I use Mac oil based makeup remover. It takes about an hour to put the makeup on and about 1.5 hours to take off. It lasted 10 hours the first time i did it, but the 2nd time i got a bad batch of the setting spray and it never set so i was constantly reapplying.

The setting spay works its like your not even in makeup its not cakey at all. I could eat finger foods and go thru the shops without it rubbing off.

You don't need much btw, one of the small ones is like 120 applications.

Thanks! Yea, its thanks to my mom shes the one that has to put it on me and then deal with me at 1am trying to get it off. And there was a great seamstress in town who did the dress for me.

Upload a file will let you grab one from your computer then you can just choose to view as thumbnail if its quite large. The litlte landscape button on top will let you link to a website picture.

yep that's the one i use. If your gonna have it in a carry on ya gotta put it in your liquid bag it for some reason counts as one.

that is the setting spray which is the most important part, but when i bought it online i got stuff that didn't work. You can get it in like State Fair or a theatre supply store.

Thats the remover that someone here pointed me towards it worked so much better then trying to get it off with oil soap and 30 washclothes, it only took 15 with that!
