"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

You buy a new Disney Vera Bradley tote or duffle to haul them home in, silly. ;)
You know me well! I may just have to do that, I really like the Halloween-themed ones you posted a few pages back. Even the smaller Lonesome Ghosts version.

Has anyone seen the poison apple steins yet, or are they just at DL?
I was curious to know what would be served in them.

I'm here now and I've arrived later than I did on other days and there's no sign at the entrance welcoming you to the Halloween party and no one obviously handing out trick or treat bags. However at this time on Friday Main St was very busy with people leaving but today there's a lot less. Will let you guys know how the crowds are as the evening progresses

Apologies if this has been asked!!

My DD and two friends land October 31st, and should be all checked in by noon. They plan to hit Magic Kingdom first, then go back to their room to rest for a bit before hitting the party (which they already have tickets for).

DD wants to know - she knows you can get in a 4pm for the party, but that it doesn't start until 7pm. Can they wear their costumes when they go back after 4pm? Or do they need to wait until 7pm to enter with costumes on?

Thanks!!

Yes, you can wear costumes at 4:00p.

Hey guys, we're trying to decide between 10/27 and 10/29. Do you think there will be enough of a difference in crowds to make one better than the other?

Both will likely sell out, that's been the pattern for all parties in the final week in recent years.

I just put together my list of everything I want to do at MNSSHP. It's pretty long and I'm thinking I either need to cut things out or do a 2nd party. I'm going solo so I could do one on my arrival day.
I just can't decide.

Anyone come across the poison apple photopass magic shot at WDW? I thought I saw that as an option on the the facebook page of Disney Photopass.

I'm at a loss at to why some of the Halloween stuff wasn't here for the first few parties. Did they forget to order it? Is it on the back of a truck somewhere with a lost driver looking for Disney?

I think it has something more to do with not having everything sell out at the first couple parties. Remember, there's more than just the normal crowds going after the merchandise. The fun re-sale sites have their crews out in full force "buying the limits" of what you can get, thus depleting the stock even more for party guests. So, as I said, this might be a way for Disney to stagger what they bring in to offer everyone. Sure, it's not fair to the people that have been and gone, but it's not fair to guests coming at the end of October that didn't have a chance at getting stuff from the first party either.

Thank you!!! I'll be following!

How many thing can one realistically do at a sold out party? We are trying to prioritize our list a bit but I'm not sure how much we can do. Is seeing the dwarves, jafar, aladdin, parade, castle show, lotso, fireworks, and tick or treating reasonable if we stay to close?

I've got time to kill on the way home, I can try and answer some questions about the first two parties it there are any.
