"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

if they are too large for suitcase i'd say ship them to hotel if you can. We had to cut the broom i brought in half for us to get it to disney and back.

That's a good idea too. It has to fit in my carry-on, since our party is our arrival date(crazy, I know). My poor carry-ons are going to be packed to the brim with costumes!

Just booked my FP+ at Midnight
Ill be going to MNSSHP on Sept 22,25
Booked Big Thunder Mountain at 4pm on Sept 22
FP+ will be done by 2:30 on Sept 25
Never been to MNSSHP before and cant wait to go trick or treating for first time in yrs and do Meet and Greets
Also excited about Parade, show and fireworks
Anyone have an idea of what characters will be out this yr and what special food items might be this yr

I did the same last year, if you are packing makeup check it mine counted for the tsa "water" rules for some reason and luckily was under the limit. And the cut off broom got my bags checked as well, which i find hilarious I can't imagine what it looked like on xray. I don't remember how we did it to ship my books for school there but they were happily waiting at the front desk for me, we had given them some lead time to arrive there for when i needed them.

I have a question. We are going to MNSSHP on Sept. 27th. I want to use one of our 6 days at the park to go in about noon that day, and have BOG reservations at 4:30 or so. I have Halloween party tickets already. Will we have to go all the out of the gates and come back in sometime after 4 so we can get a MNSSHP wristband? (I didn't see this answered, so excuse me if someone else has asked)

And on another note, I got my MNSSHP tix today and they looked just like any other ticket. No Halloween theme, I was disappointed! I thought the ones I had before were Halloween ones.

There are in park locations where you can have your band or ticket scanned and get your wristband and bag. The tickets have been generic the last few years.

Just booked Not So Scary for Oct 25th!!!! So excited!!!! We haven't been to this since my kids were very young and they don't remember it. I don't think we saw a parade back then either. Is the parade and fireworks show at the very end of the event? And where is a good place to sit to see them?

The parade runs at 8:15 and 10:30, with fireworks at 9:30. The second parade is less crowded, and Frontierland is a great spot to get front row seats immediately after the fireworks.

If someone already asked and answered this, my apologies. We will go to MK the day we go to the Halloween parade and have our 3 FP+s for the regular day. Do you get to book additional FastPasses for during the Halloween party as well?

No fastpass during the party, only up till the 7pm start.

I'll be going on October 25th! It will be my first MNSSHP and the party will be my friend's first time seeing the castle ever

Hi all! We decided to take a day at the resort and downtown and then head over to Magic for entry after 4 pm. We won't be using a park ticket the day of the party at all. We have purchased our MNSSHP tickets and they are loaded in our MDE. When we enter the park do we scan our bands and if so will it recognize that its the party ticket and not one of our park tickets?
