"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

Wow! That's amazing. Not expecting it, but that would be great if it happened. I've never gotten the cards before, so we're looking forward to picking them up every day we're in MK.

My son loves SotMK. Just be aware that the 1st time you play, you'll get a starter pack. Each day after that, you'll need to open and play 1 portal before you can go and get your pack for the day. You can either get a key hole card to open portals or have it set up to use your mb. We prefer to use a keyhole card.

The party cards are given out 1 per mnsshp ticket and each person getting the card must be present.

We had IPO get our tickets for us the day they became available, and we haven't received them yet. Is this common? I'm wondering if you generally get them in your packet/itinerary upon arrival of if they are always mailed out. Has anyone dealt with this?

sorry if it already been ask..I know that you can go in the park at 4pm for the party that start a 7 ans I know there no fast pass for the party but..can we make fast pass selection for 4pm until 7 pm?

maybe it's under will call?

My mnsshp automatically showed up on my MDE account. I ordered hard tickets thru mail too. I didn't link them? Is that typical?

Ours too. Bought through the website, asked me to assign to each guest...sending hard tickets, but already also linked in MDE (along with park tickets, etc). It just automatically did it.

Thanks much. Related question - we are attending the party on Halloween and want a good view of Hallowishes. I assume that means somewhere on Main Street. Any thoughts on how early we'll need to grab a spot?

I have not been there since the walls have come down. We had a amazing view on the walk way towards Adventure Land about 30 from the popcorn cart against the rail, so no one was in front of us. After we walked over to Liberty Square for the parade. I must say I am looking forward to seeing where others say.

Just curious if it is considered a "waste" to use one of our MK day tickets on the same day we are doing MNSSHP (Tues. Oct. 27)? We have 5 park days (no hoppers) and I followed easywdw crowd plans to set our itinerary. He has MK as the most recommended that day.
My daughter (15) loves MK the best so our plan is to go there at rope drop, take break in afternoon to put on costumes, and go back about 3 p.m.
For the rest of our trip we have one day at HS, EP, AK and an additional MK day.
Am I wasting a park ticket by using it at MK that day?

We are going as the Carousel of Progress family from the 4th of July scene. You can find many costume ideas in my guest list thread. There are links to my 2013 and 2014 threads in post one, and several of my past costumes and party pics in post 2. Happy planning...

Omg! That is an awesome idea! Thanks so much for the link. I had completely forgotten about that thread!

Search "DisneyBounding" on Pinterest or Google. You can get some neat 'costume' ideas using regular clothes and accessories - you want to make use your balance costume and good for the park/the heat.

Thank you! Once I started I found my inspiration very quickly! Yes definitely. I keep seeing costumes with long sleeves and tights and that is definitely not happening on party nights!

It really depends on the day. I've done an early October MNSHHP in 86 degrees wearing long sleeves long jeans scarf gloves and a cloak. Wasn't bad I made sure to drink a lot. Last year on Halloween I was in a floor length Victorian/Edwardian dress without an issue as well, but it was cooler then.

Your costume though sounds like you could go both ways and choose what the weather dictated that day.

I think if it works for your family, stick with your plan, especially if you only have one MK day (other than the party day) My family would definitely need two full MK days!

Any rumors yet on characters for the party? Will the princes be back? Will the villains be available to all party goers?
