"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

Oh also...can you FP any of the parades and fireworks? Would ppl suggest doing that? we probably wont be going into any other parks that day and would have already done a lot of rides and characters earlier in the wk, so I could potentially have unused FP's for that day

Hi, no FP during MNSSHP unfortunately.

No FP for anything during Party hours. As far as BOG reservations, I tried last year and they were not taking reservations for evenings the party was held. It is my understanding they DID take walk ups though. I think BOG closes earlier on party nights too. Maybe someone else has more info!

Right now, the only bookable dinner times on party nights are from 4pm to 6pm. You can enter at 4pm with just your MNSSHP tickets, so I would try for a 4:30pm slot. If there are any special party characters you want to meet. You should line up for them by 6pm.

Thanks. I have a 7 day tix to parks so I can go in even earlier if we want to right, then stay for the party with our tix? I was thinking of a 4pm dinner. I cant imagine how they would do this but does ursella (sp? from lil mermaid) make an appearance? My daughter is strangely obsessed with her LOL

Historically, she has not been available. You can enter the park earlier if using a regular ticket, and there are typically two in park locations to have your party ticket scanned for wristband and bag distribution. One across from pirates and one near Stitch.

I did BOG on halloween last year at 5:45, it was good and has a special dessert just for the party.

When you say "then stay for the party with our tix" you are referring to your PARTY tickets, right? Not just your regular park tickets? Just wanted to make sure you knew you can't stay past 7pm on a regular park ticket. :)

He/She posted on the previous page that she bought party tickets for Oct. 25. :thumbsup2

She has been out previous years but last year she was pulled from the park for a separately ticketed dessert party in the castle. So you needed to pay for the dessert party in addition to MNSSHP admission to be able to see her.

Disney haven't announced if this event will go ahead again this year, so she may be in the park, she may not. It's too early to tell.

Thanks!

Do people go to more than one party during their trip? I'm debating doing 2 parties. We have a 4 year old (he'll be 5 the week of our trip) and at home he usually is asleep at 9 with no nap. But I don't think he'll make it the whole party so I was thinking of doing 2 parties so we can see everything. Or is that overkill? I would like to do 2 ;) but for kids is that too much or do you think there is enough to see to go twice?

I have a 2 year old and an 8 year old. We did 2 parties last year and I was really glad we did. There was plenty to do both nights. I also didn't feel so pressured trying to fit it all in.

We went this past year, and at the time my sons were 2 and 4, respectively. I wish we had done the party twice, because there simply wasn't enough time to do it all. We learned from our experience and went to the Christmas party twice, and both times were a blast. We didn't feel rushed to do everything the first night since we knew there was another night coming up. We just made sure we had enough activities to do in the morning so they would take good naps for us before the Christmas party. In the future, we will totally book 2 Halloween parties if possible. Hope that helps!

Which parade does everyone recommend? We will mostly be doing rides, hopefully a few characters, the parade and fireworks. I am guessing we will do the candy trail last at the end of the night as from what I am reading here that is the best time to do so. This is our first party and I don't want to miss anything!

Thanks! That does help - I am really leaning toward doing 2 parties. Plus Halloween is my favorite holiday and we probably won't be going for Halloween again (next time we go in a couple years we want to do star wars weekend) so I don't want to miss anything or feel rushed! Thanks guys!

Alot of people recommend the second parade - bu tthere were still a TON of people lineing up for that right after the first one was over

Watch the fireworks and then immediately head to Frontierland for the second parade. Tons of front row spots and you get to see the Headless Horseman ride a long time.

yes that is what I meant. I have 7 day park hopper tix and also bought MNSSHP tix for sunday 10/25/15. Just did my ADR's this morning. A bit more stressful than I had hoped for LOL. But I got BOG for 4pm on the night of the party I'm very excited.

Is there anywhere that gives a timeline for events at the party? I want to see the parade it will probably be the first one and is there a villain show?
