I'm at the Hilton so I guess it's not that far to walk. I guess I was asking because I'll also be doing the Disney World Dopey in Jan and I figure to get back to whatever hotel I'll have at that time I will definitely be taking back a bus, or something and it feels dirty to do it all wet.

Pack a dry shirt and a change of shoes in your check bag and make the switch after the finish. It's really not anything to worry about. There are lots of picture taking opportunities after the finish for each of the Dopey races, not to mention the beer truck, and you'll want to be dry for that.

Haven't heard anything. I read crazy rumors (here? I forget where) that rD was meeting with Swarovski to really bling out the medals, but there's no way that can be true!

5K: Mouseketeer with BFF1 & BFF2 (need a blue skirt - I have 1 now but it's too dark, shirt - Mouseketeer logo or my name on it??, and DL ears)
10K: Trio of Villains with BFFs (Malificent, Ursula - me - and Evil Queen...have everything for this one!)
Half: DL 60 Minnie (have a red skirt, need a red dri-fit top, blue sparkly sash for the waist and a red sparkle visor)

Darn, I thought I had more stuff than I actually do! Booooo.

My 5k Mulan outfit is getting too hard to put together. I'm thinking of re-visiting the Jessica Rabbit idea I had for last year's run (before I decided on Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland themes). That would be pretty easy to put together - just a red sparkle skirt, red running top, purple wristbands and maybe some red hair mascara or something. I'm all for comfort, so I wouldn't want to wear an actual wig. It would probably be relatively easy to do a Roger Rabbit for DH too - I think another visit to Pinterest is in order!

I'll still do the rest of the Mulan outfits - they're coming together pretty well.

I would see if you can ask on social media (Facebook/Twitter). A couple of rD stalwarts (Sparkle Skirts being the biggest) have already posted weeks ago that they were denied spots at the DLH expo, presumably because of larger sponsor requirements.

I saved last year's program and just looked at it...CW-X didn't have their own booth. I think your best bet will be to go to a running store booth (Fit2Run had a booth last year, for example) and see if they have them there. Sometimes you can find discounts but it's not a guarantee.

Still mad about that...although to be fair, from what I understand, they COULD have had a booth, but it would have been one that was so small that they wouldn't be able to sell enough to make the cross-country trip. Something ridiculous like 10' x 10'. Which is just not doable for a small company.

Along those lines....any word on a new shoe design for the DL half? It seems as if they've had a new shoe for every race except the Star Wars half.

They said at the beginning of the year that they're releasing new shoes for each race. The Tink shoes weren't revealed until the week of the race, so I think you've still got awhile to wait.

In the meantime...MEDALS??!!!

Well I got week 9 done! Wrapped my foot with vet wrap to give it lots of support. The temp was cooler but the strong wind created lots of resistance but the humidity was 83% this morning air so heavy. We are not use to this kind of weather, we are usually mushrooms up here! Stopped doing TRX until foot feels better no jumping, doing more spin to keep up cardio. At least there is good music to help me through those classes, massive sweat fest! Spin shoes help me keep foot flat. On ward and upward! Foot does feel a little better. Can believe I'm am crocked up and signing up for Princess GSC oh well this will be My C2C dream. So entry is done through travel agent now waiting for Tinker bell! Man I'm broke! Disney sucking everything, medals will be worth it ! I need goals, and boy am I making them! Hope training going well for everyone.
