10K should be better time to submit- but not by a huge amount if my math was right! :thumbsup2

Thanks. I was wondering if they didn't use it because of the date. It was from Oct 2011 but when I registered it said after July 2010 which was the same for last year. Wonder if someone forgot to change the date on the reg form. I'll bring them both just in case.

I found this listing for the corrals from the 2012 PHM, and it includes the assignments for team bibs. As Cripey pointed out, the team numbers used to begin with 20000. It appears that they are now starting with 30000. Still for those of us in teams, it gives you an idea of where you might fall.

Disney Princess Half Marathon Corral Placement 2012
Corral: Individuals Bib *** Team Bib Range
Corral A 31-2250 *** 20001-20313
Corral B 2251-4500 *** 20314-20634
Corral C 4501-6750 *** 20635-21017
Corral D 6751-9000 *** 21018-21373
Corral E 9001-11250 *** 21374-21777
Corral F 11251-13500 *** 21778-22159
Corral G 13501-15750 *** 22160-22617
Corral H 15751-18000 *** 22618-23000

Thanks for posting the info on the Team numbers. Was beginning to panic when my bib # was in the 30500's and everyone's was in the 1-6000's

Still, roughly would that put us in the B corral?

Thanks for posting the link! I'm #3030 :thumbsup2

We will be in the same coral then, I'm # 3060... I guess it will be B then :cool1: That's good, I don't want to wait around in the cold for too long but I also don't want to start with all the really fast runners...

You'll find me in the back of whatever corral it is :) I'm not running as fast as my proof of time would indicate due to my current, broken down, body-is-revolting-against-me, status ;)

Joan, as we say in TX Mucho Gracias for posting the website ! Guess I'm okay with 11914 & DH 11913 since we are doing a 13ish pace anyway. Looks like corral E for us...and just so everybody knows...think the real party will be in corral E and later:rotfl2: Thinking about filling my water bottles with mimosa mix and then staging people along the race route with refills for me!:rotfl2:

This past Saturday my husband and I completed our first 10k!

I'm so proud that we didn't get "swept" we kept a 14.58 min pace!

The thing that was hard about this race was the heat, I live in Deep South Texas (right by the border) and it was flipping sunny and hot 83 and humid. We usually go jogging when the sun is down so the sun isn't a big deal.

Well, we are going to participate in a half this Sunday to see how we can pace ourselves together for the princess. Should be the same weather so I'm nervous I'm going to sweat all my energy out that morning.

All you ladies that keep a 13 min and under are an inspiration!!!!!

WOO HOO ! You go my fellow TX princess ! Can we sweat good in south TX or what? Here is San Antonio pretty humid today so this princess is just not "glisening"...nope...flat out sweating....and you know it's bad when DH announces "d*** honey you are soaked" nice huh? :rotfl:

Agree with you on the ladies doing an under 13 min pace...I am so not worthy!:worship:

Whew, so glad others mentioned the team numbers starting higher this year -- nearly had a heart attack when I downloaded our waivers.

I'm 30255 and my hubby is 30767 -- can't wait to see which corral that gets us.

Erin

Trying to figure out in my head where the cut off between B and C and C and D might be.

I assume the guys are going to be starting in C. And if we know 2 of them are 5900s- and both are FAST guys....

Did either of them run last year? Dan? Cripey?

I ran 2 years ago, I was in B. At that time, I has a proof of 2:30 half, I now have a proof of 1:45 half. The race has also gotten much larger since two years ago, so take that as it is, I am probably C, male with a 1:45 proof. Though that won't correlate with the ladies numbers as I would normally be in A with that time, so I may be at what is considered the front of the cut off for C out of B.

Mine is 10020. I could run hard at the local 10K this weekend, and I'd probably move up one corral. I don't think it's worth the risk of injury so close to the PHM, especially since I've been sick.

Do you think they'll add more corrals, or make them bigger? I have seen individual numbers up to nearly 22000, meaning 2750 individual runners in each corral...that would also make the breakdown look like this:

*These are not official in any way and are only my guesses based on number of people divided by 8, as the breakdown for last year was the 18000 divided by 8 per corral*

Up to 2750 would be A
2751-5500 would be B
5501-8250 would be C
8251-11000 would be D
11001-13750 would be E
13751-16500 would be F
16501-19250 would be G
19250-22000 would be H

Do you think they'll do that, or add a corral? Either way, it makes me feel better about my 11668, so it looks I'll either be an E or have more corrals behind me if I'm in F....

It's the George Washington Birthday Classic 10K in Alexandria on the 17th. And I'm going to need it because without a time to submit my bib number is

31048! :confused3

I didn't know the numbers went up that high!!! Help!

Hmm, I might have to run that one, too. LOL, about your bib number. Yeah, others were confused about the 30000 numbers, too! Hopefully corral placements will come out soon. Have you heard anything about this race? Good? Bad?

What???
My bib number is 31388?? I submitted qualifying 10K time. What does this mean?

Just talked to my friend who submitted the same time and her bib number is 9760. :confused3

I think the general hypothesis is the 30k numbers are team...did you register as a team? If so, don't worry, you'll still be placed according to your time. Previously all 20k bib #'s were teams...we're thinking the individual #'s went over 20k this year, so 30k's are the new team #'s.

I'm 11494 but I have a new 10K time to submit that should move me up a tad bit. If it doesn't, I'm still ok with that!
