Uhm, no they're both first years. I thought.

"So anywho, looks like our first class is Potions. I heard the Professor that teaches that class, is really mean."

Luna went into a fit of giggles which didn't stop for a good 3 minutes. After she had recovered, she pulled out a pamplet of all Hogwarts teachers names and pictures.

She searched for Professor Snape, and almost gasped at the picture. She looked up fast and her eyes searched the table. Snape was a tall, dark haired, man who looked rathar oily.

Luna shook her head back in a defeated way.

"I agree, Ron. Looks like it's gonna be a long morning..." Luna said. At this time she started gathering her things because the bell was about to ring.

ron grabbed his bag and followed everyone out of the hall

Luna followed all of her friends out of the hall, and up the staircase to Potions.

Once her, and everyone else she knew got there, the door was locked so they patiently waited outside.

"I heard about him. My grandmother told me about him. Also says his father is awful" Neville said disgusted and a little hince of fear in his voice. "I hope we get to fly on brooms for our first lesson. I really want to try it." Neville stated, while waiting for the class to start.

lavinia skipped/ran into potions just as the bell rang. "Hi luna can i sit with you?"

Wait, are you talking about the Flying Class? Because I thought the first class was gonna be Potions....?

"Sure!" Luna exclaimed to Lavinia just as a sweaty Professor Snape slid in and unlocked the door. All the students rushed into the classroom, and Luna and all her friends got a perfect seat near the back.

Wait, are you talking about the Flying Class? Because I thought the first class was gonna be Potions....?

Neville walked in and took a seat in the back with the rest of his friends. Snape frowned and began to talk.

Luna was starting to daydream, although she did hear Professor Snape muttering something about how important Potions were...and how little patience he had with snot nosed little brats.

"Charming" Luna muttered to Neville.

"Scary if you ask me. No wonder he is head of Slytherin" Neville said quietly.
Snape stood up and began to walk around the room observing all his new students.

ron was sitting behind them he was doodling in the corner of his paper when snape said weasley what is a use of hippogriff feathers

"um mum said they make good bandages she uses them "

that is not a proper use weasley 10 points from gryffindor snape said

"The correct use of hippogriff feathers are that they're great antidotes for people who have been poisoned with Bailetesectum."

Luna smiled and settled herself in. Then Snape went back to the front of the class, told everyone to pair up in threes and gathar around a cauldron. Then he put directions for a potion up on the board. And instructed the class to make it.

Luna paired up with Neville and Ron, at first the potion didn't look to well, but by the time they were finished it was a bright yellow. Almost the orange color it was supposed to be.

Snape said fill a flask with the potion and bring it to his desk.
