Diana's first song was AWESOME!!!

Here comes Fantasia's first...........

Not sure, but if I hear Randy say "YO YO, YO YO" again I am gon to have to mute it when he talks....I wonder if he ever watches the show and sees how dopey he sounds saying that all the time.
Fantasia sounds like a Macy Gray wanna be to me.....

Once again I agree with Simon. I have never been a Fantasia fan, but I have always appreciated that she had talent, but I did NOT like that song at all!!!

I think Diana has the door wide open, she did the really tough song first, and now the next two are her choice. Should be interesting.

I fell asleep and missd the first songs. I woke up with Diana singing "Enough is Enough"

Does fantasia have a sore throat? She sounds raspier then normal.

I wish they were singing new songs...not repeats of stuff they already did.


Diana sounds terrible on "Don't Cry Out Loud" her voice sounds a bit strained too.

Randy did his "yo-yo" again! EEEKKKK!

I agree. Randy's ramblings are as incoherent as Paula's, and he keeps repeating them over and over. Him and that "It was just aw-ight for me, ya know?" - enough already.

I'm in a weird place here, because I like Diana so much, she seems like a sweet kid, and to be in a fishbowl week after week has got to be tough for someone so young. I get good vibes from her, more so than I do for Fantasia who seems like she could be one big diva, truth be told. I think with time and grooming, Diana willl grow to have a very powerful voice and stage presence.

But in my mind, there is no contest here. Fantasia is far and away the more talented. Her last two songs were just amazing, you'd never guess she was 19 years old. I'll be shocked if she doesn't win.

To me, Fantasia went way over the top. Diana stayed grounded. My vote would also go to Diana.

Overall-

Diana- 1st song, great job. 2nd- Once again great. Last one not so good but still better then Paula could ever hope to sing.

Fantasia- 1st song- Bad, very weird choice, not good at all. 2nd- Not as good as her first performance of Summertime, it was OK. 3rd- Good job.


Gee........ who do the judges want to win?

My vote goes to Diana, redial button here I come.

I agree the judges have already given Fantasia the win she just did her acceptance song, please I just don't like Fantasia.

I agree, Diana is a much better singer than Fantasia... but Fantasia is a better performer. Did you notice in the "Idol Song" written by Tamyra that Fantasia "hey yeah'ed" much of the song where Diana actually sang the riffs?

My vote would go to Diana (If I could vote here in Canada!)

I am still voting for Diana - She is MUCH easier on the ears than Fantasia's screechy operator sounding voice.

Fantasia couldn't even win a Karaoke contest. Yuck!

Even with 3 lines and my phone and cell phone going I can't get through!!

My cell phone hasn't gotten through once but my home phone, probably 10 times between 8:55 and 9:00 then busy busy busy.

I'm voting for DIANA!!!!! She's amazing for 16, I can only imagine how she'll be as she grows up!

Fantasia BUGS me so much! The yeah yeah's were very noticable for me tonight!
