DIANA ROCKED!!!!!! MUCH MUCH better than La Toya and much much better than her other performance in the last couple of weeks!

I think Diana was the best performance tonight by far! I can't believe the judges didn't say that, IMHO!

Yuck. That was not a good night. The singers were not connected with the music at all.

Best performance: Diana
Worst performance: John

The rest were very disappointing.

The comments from the judges were much better tonight and shouldn't cause any backlash in the voting.

I wasn't feelin' it from Fantasia tonight. Not that I usually do, but especially not tonight. Maybe it just wasn't the right song for her. I really wish the audience would let Simon talk. I agreed with him and Randy.
I thought George did really well, especially if he's sick. He wasn't over the top, which I like. His dance moves were cute, too. I disagreed with Simon's comments here. (The comment about Ryan's presenting skills was harsh!)
I've heard LaToya do much better. Her dress was really cute, and her dance moves were good, but I felt like she was almost out of breath because of the dancing. And I want that dress she's wearing!
I already didn't like the song John sang, but even though I love John Stevens, I don't like his voice with this style of music. But I praise Simon's comment about how John has taken the bullets like a man. Kudos to my Johnny!
Jasmine did really well, although there were a lot of moments where she went painfully flat.
I like the song Diana sang, and I thought she did really well!

Did anyone notice that huge thing on Paula's thumb? I wonder what happened.
While John was singing, I had a random thought as I looked at him…he would make a great Ron Weasley! He's tall and has freckles and flaming red hair. I thought of this because I was just reading Harry Potter today
Did anyone see that quick cut to JPL in the audience? I think he might have been able to do pretty well tonight.
Not sure who I want to vote for tonight.

Diana was the best in my opinion, Jasmine 2nd, LaToya 3rd, George 4th, Fantasia 5th and John last. Diana really performed at her best tonight. I'm normally a LaToya fan, but I have to say, Diana was the BEST by FAR!!!!!!!

I think I heard on Entertainment Tonight last week that she had a manicure "accident." Apparently the manicurist poked through her nail or something and it got infected. She was even wearing a sling last week!

Obviously, I'm watching Entertainment Tonight WAY too much as it seems to be the only "news" source I can quote - LOL!!

Edited to say Oh my gosh...I really liked Diana! I think she was the best by far and it's saying a lot since I bashed her until last week.

I felt the same way about Fantasia...all the "jennifer" crap really got on my nerves. I was also worried that we were going to see a wardrobe malfunction! Did any of you catch Simons little comment at the end? After Fantasia said people tell her she lookds like Bugs Bunny...he said more like Jessica Rabbit!

no I did not enjoy this week....my oppinion of best for the week would be Diana and 2nd choice Jasmine. I love John but he comes in last for me. The rest were sort of boring

My opinion on Diana was getting lower and lower as each week went by but tonight I thought she was the best! I did not think her dress was all that bad.

LaToya - she did look pretty tonight and it was nice to see her do a more upbeat number. Not too bad, not her best but she was good.

Jasmine - I thought she did okay, some parts were really good.

George - poor guy, a few weeks ago he had me liking him more and more but last week and this week I dont think he has done too well. Some weeks I really like his voice and then others I can barely stand to listen to it.

Fantasia - I still dont like her, her "props" to Jennifer were dumb, I agree w/ Simon the cartoonish characer voice...it sounded kinda baby-ish tonight.

John - well I will be nice and say I heard him sing for about 5 seconds and then hit mute.....sorry to the JS fans, I just can not listen to his voice. I do totally agree that he is taking these weakly beatings really well and that says alot about him!

I like Gloria's music, but don't think it can be sung by everyone. Diana did good. Latoya & Fantasia too. Wasn't everyones best. Definitely not John Stevens. I felt bad for the poor guy. I liked Simon's comment to John. He has been under the gun the past few weeks. He's taking all the criticism well.
Randy wasn't in a good mood either. What's his deal?

Maybe I don't hear correctly.

I thought Jasmine stunk. I thought she sounds way out of tune or something. On the other hand, I thought John Stevens did okay. I thought John was better than Jasmine.

That's terrible what people say about John. At least he got into the competition. Look how far he's made it. I wonder how many of the people who say mean things about him would make it on tv singing for millions. He won't win, but he's good.

I hope George Huff wins.

My top picks this week are Diana, Jasmine and LaToya. Out of the bottom 3 it's anybody's guess on who will go. i like the fact that they stressed over and over that if you want your favorite to stay in you have to vote. That is so true!


I didn't enjoy this week at all. I think it's because I am so used to Gloria's way of singing it just seems weird to hear anyone else sing.


What was Simons dig at Jennifer...I must have missed it.

Wow, not a very exciting show tonight. The only one who really did the song justice was Diana, she was the best tonight. Once again John S had an off night, in my opinion. I am sorry to all his fans here, but listening to him sing is actually painful for me. I am sure he is a nice guy and I will agree with all, he is handling the criticism commendably each week.

I agree on both parts! I just can't stand to listen to John butcher another song next week. When he sings Sinatra type music he is not bad but that is the ONLY time....he is SO monotone that it is painful to hear him sing!

Normally, I can't stand Diana, but I think she did the best job this week and got my vote.

Fantasia turned me off with the Jennifer "shout outs". Her singing was awful as well.

Latoya was just ok this week for me. I liked her energy, but she can sing much better than that.

I did not like George's performance this week, but it was better than last week. Some of the facial expressions were goofy.

Jasmine sounded good in certain parts of the song and weak in other parts.

I thought John was better this week than last week. I liked what Simon had to say about him. He is a gentleman. I hate when the contestants talk back and roll their eyes at the judges. John is so likable. I'm sure we'll see more of him when Idol is over.

Overall, it was a bad week. The band was just too good. It distracted from the singing.

This was what I was referring to. I didn't hear Simon say anything..but I was also talking to my kids so i thought I might have missed it.


Is next week the big band week. If it is I hope John sticks around one more week...that is his type of music.

I don't know if this is any idication of the voting, but DD was able to put in several votes for John. I was able to get in 1 vote for LaToya because her line was always busy. DD got busy signals for John too, but not as much as she usually gets.

I thought LaToya was the best.
