If this has been posted before...I'm sorry...I came across this on the "anysoldier" site.....and I thought I'd pass it on. When you fill in the form for overseas...put the APO address in the state and then repeat the number in the zip code box.

Dunkin Donuts donates the coffee
Passed on by supporter Kelly Bishop on 4 Mar 05:
Dunkin Donuts will send a case (24 one pound bags) to service members serving in Iraq. Dunkin Donuts donates the coffee and pays all the shipping costs.
Go to www.dunkindonuts.com
Fill out the form.
Put the soldiers name and APO address.
Click on "submit"
They are getting a lot of requests so it may take a little time.
You can also write with the same info to:
Dunkin Brands
130 Royall Street
Canton, MA 02121
Or call customer relations at 781-737-3000 (they are very friendly and helpful)
From Dunkin' Donuts:
Dunkin' Brands, Inc. supports the brave men and woman of the United States military.
We are honored to send a taste of home to our troops overseas. We will hold a monthly lottery to randomly select 50 military members among those requests submitted. Each will receive a case of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. We will limit the offer to those who have not previously received any coffee. Please understand that because of the volume of requests, only recipients will be notified.

OHHH that is awesome!! Makes me teary when I see companies supporting our men and women in uniform. :)

Thanks for the info! I had no idea. Going to send in a request this afternoon!

THANK YOU!:cool1:

In case anyone hasn't found this out yet, it's not true! Apparently, this was from over 2 years ago, and they actually backed down on it too. Once they realized how expensive it would be, they only shipped about 400 cases. Here's one article about it:

http://billhobbs.com/hobbsonline/005255.html

And I got a bunch of them just by googling "dunkin donuts shipping free coffee to soldiers." There are a ton of bloggers talking about it. DD thought they would keep it on the down low, but as we all know bloggers can take anything and run with it. So once word got out, it spread so fast and DD couldn't keep up with the demand.

Oh, the reason I searched this is I just had a friend getting stuff together for her BIL. So I sent her this info and then went to the site to get her more info. That's when I couldn't find it anywhere, so I had to search more!

Sorry to be the bummer here!

:scared1: Now I feel so very very bad....I'm so sorry...If I mislead anyone - I'm so sorry! All our other deployments have been to other areas...this is the first to Bagdad...and we are all just trying to be so supportive and trying to find ways to help.
Again...my sincerest apologies....
Please Know that my prayers are for all of you....over there and all of you back here waiting!
This is so hard some days...I so very much admire all your courage and stamina.
My daughter called last night...she is so sick with the flu...she has 6 children under 13 and I'm 1500 miles away with no way to help or get to her. Her neighbor on base is leaving today for a 6 week trip home - I feel so helpless.
Again - I'm so sorry for leading anyone astray. Barb

Hang in there Barbara! :goodvibes

No probs about the DD coffee deal. Since DD was kind enought to at least attempt it a few years ago... I'm going to purchase a few packages from them and mail them out tommorrow with the other items.

I found the link on their website? https://www.dunkindonuts.com/aboutus/contact/Feedback.aspx?type=4
