I know this is not on a buget topic but since this is the board i spend most of my time on i figured id send it out there.

Ive 5 kids three of them are coming to WDW this coming Sunday while DH watches the two little ones. None of my kids have been there so this is a big deal for them. Last week the three youngest started getting sick... typical cold.. nothing more serious until... Saturday when my 7 yr old started complaining of an ear ache, within an hour she was screaming and almost not consolable. Dr called in antibiotic and wouldnt see her until Sunday. Well that was doable until her ear started to ooze blood! Took her to ER and Drs there arent sure what it is, tell me to take her to Dr in the AM as planned.
Sunday comes after a very very long night with poor DD suffering. Turns out the pressure from the fluid in her ears caused the drum to rupture.

We arent sure if we will be able to go Sunday... we are seeing Dr again Friday for a clearence and praying he can assure me she wont suffer on the plane. Im not able to rebook this entire trip, as i did it all myself and as for the insurance question i posted last week i should have gone with my gut and opted for that.

Please send some pixxie dust our way ... i dotn want ot cancel and i certainly dotn want her to get on that plane and be in serious pain.

I wonder if Earplanes would be possible to put in her ears so no pressure builds up? If she can put them in, they seem to work great for my DD who typically has pain. we just put them in before takeoff and take out after we land.

Actually i had bought ear planes after hearing about them here on the boards and was planning on using them for all of us all along. I will be bringing them into the Dr friday though just to make sure anything at all should be put in her ear. But the drum is not close enough to the surface so im assuming it will be ok. But we all know what happens when you assume
