Some days life hands you lemons. As you all know I was thrilled when the bank (this a short sale that we have been involved in since September) finally said yes to our offer. Well the sellers refused to sign off on the offer as it didn't cover the total amount of the house. To make a long story short, the house needs repairs and isn't currently worth what they owe the bank. So at this point, it is a no. I lingered in the bummers for a few days and pouted a bit, but now it is time to move on. DH is still convinced there is a smidgen of hope, I refuse to believe. So thanks everyone for your good wishes. I will take those good wishes while we search for our new dream house.
