I think it could be an educational experience for you. Teaching them safety and not pointing them at people. My kids 6 and 8 both have real guns and shoot them. They huntil with me and got to a shooting range. They both respect and use caution. I think most gun issues come with kids who are curious and not know about safety. They are likely to go.to a friends house and play with a real gun. My wife and myself both carry.
